Cricket: ICC World Twenty20 tournament Sept 2007 in South Africa

It was an awful choke by India. They needed about 40 off last three overs. Smartly Dhoni saved two of the most unpredictable bowlers in Sreesanth and Agarkar for last two overs.

if its not too much trouble, can someone briefly explain what a "bowl out" is?

The cricket version of a penalty shoot out... :wenger:

Pak bowlers missed the wickets each time

Similar to penalty shoot out.

But here a bowler has to just bowl a delivery and hit the wicket. And yes with no bastman ,just the open fcking wicket. How fcking easy is that and yet Pakistan missed 3.

So hit the stumps with no batsman? From 22 yards, with normal run up? Are there three stumps or just 1?

Thats a feckin fix!!!

How can an international bowler miss the stumps without a batsman in place? I've played cricket twice in the past three years, but give me a open wicket and I'll hit it from 22 yards 9 times out of 10.

That's right, it was fixed. Both teams worked together to make it a tie so that Pak could throw it away in the bowlout.

Gayest. Thing. Ever

20-20 is gay in the first place. A bowl out makes it even more

Good lord, stop with this rubbish "I watch only meaningful games.. this is ruining the sport.". I'm enjoying it, you're picking it apart needlessly when you could've very well opted to not watch the game. It might be shit, whatever, but if all you could do as an Indian watching India play Pakistan while the match was reaching an amazing ending was bitch over the internet, you're fecking weird.

I was on the edge of my seat, so were ALL the other people that I know here watching the match. Quit with this sanctimonious bullshit.

You'll probably reply with a laughing smiley or some shit.

so thats what it is, well it is a supremely retarded concept to say the least.

what the feck is happening to the game of cricket.

If it was so important that they couldn't award a tie in the group stages (a point each) then it should have been decided on the fact that one team lost less wickets... things like that anyway...

How the feck did Pakistan not hit the stumps even once? And this bowl out shit is fecking gay. A hit out would have been a better idea. One over each. Which ever team scores more wins. This hitting the wickets crap is absolute nonsense.

Hit out would take too much time.

It was the first decent match in the tournament not surprising considering the pitch assisted the bowlers.

True...much more of an even contest.I still think they should do away with some fielding restrictions, the free hit noncesense and the hit out or whatever the feck that was if they want to retain some of the sports individuality.

Plain fecking retarded. I'm not even going to grace this with a proper reply.

Tough group. SA and NZ will make it through.

Yep I think so but you never know with twenty20 just a few bad overs and a few 6's can swing the match so much.

I'd say Australia to go through in the other group along with Sri Lanka, although hopefully it will be Pakistan.
