Cricket Draft - Tests

Great pick but... :boring:

haha. i know but considering the quality of openers available and the quality of pacers, he's someone i just couldnt pass on. far too many fantastic quicks and too few quality openers.

Aren't we supposed to PM the next in turn?

Got no PM here.

Anyway I'll take Ambrose.

1) crappy

Good pick.

Must have been one of the most awkward bowlers to face. Brilliant bowler

Crappy add these rules please.

The player after making his pick will have to PM the next player informing of his turn.

You must pick within six hours or you're turn will be skipped.

People in football drafts PM other players their picks in case they're off. No reason why this couldn't be done here. This is being done at an excruciatingly slow speed.

12 hours is fair enough imo.

It's up to the players to make a genuine effort to speed up the draft

I am going with

Michael Holding

and

Adam Gilchrist

There are plenty of players who have been at their best post 2000. Will that be held against them or is that irrelevant?

The bit about debut before 2000 is just to filter our the players, does not mean you disregard performances after 2000.

The limit right now is 12 hours. But yeah, people need to start PMing others their picks in case they are going to be away and their turn could be coming soon.

6 hours isn't practical really. ghaliboy (if he lives in Australia as I think he does) and I are on the opposite sides of the world.

He's playing but by his own admission has no clue what's going on

I'll pick Kapil Dev. Quality all rounder with more than 400 wickets and 5000 runs.
