Very surprised Botham went before him tbh. This draft isn't going the way I thought.

I thought about both of them but went for my favourite, who doesn't possess the charisma like these two but has impeccable stats

I think modern stats are going to be severely undervalued here.. Kallis shouldn't be though. Amazing batsman - not as good as Bothan or near Kahn with the ball though.

Kallis's stats are from 1995 so as good as most of Indian batting legends from previous generation.
Yes, definitely not at level of those 2 in bowling but still good record in that department and batting wise up there among all time greats. Anyway, lets keep this discussion for game ;)

Oh I agree with that - he is a class act.. I believe it is only back problems that really derailed his bowling too - correct me if I'm wrong. He is a true modern great.

Yup the back problems meant he became less aggressive than his earlier days. Still remained handy and picked up crucial wickets.

what is the final criteria for players? 10 tests before 2000 or debut before 2000 and judged on post 2000 performances?

In the OP it just says that the player needs to have made the debut before 2000, that's it. Whole career would be judged during voting if I am not wrong.

Debuted between 70-99. Whole career taken into account though. Thats what I got too.

There is a 12 hour time limit and RI is in US where it would be night time .. so we are a bit fecked ATM. He has another 9.30 hours left to make his pick
