I think we should restart the reinforcement round again. It started at an odd time anyway and some players did not get enough time to bid on players.

My suggestion would be to keep sell the player back rule but increase fees to 30m as suggested by @Samid and call out not being able to buy back sold players.

Yeah, was thinking of the same. If I have a player I bought at base price, how would I release him without incurring any budgetary punishment.

We need to think about this 30m rule. It means I can't sell any player really

Moby is like the guy who started selling tobacco, made fortune and now building cancer hospitals for cure.
 
Just make the reinforcement round as Snake draft and those having the most money get to choose their drafting position
 
Limiting the number of sales would have been a better way of doing it. Say you are only allowed to sell 3 players.

Or the other solution is once you sell a player the manager who sold him can't buy him back. This rule you can probably enforce now by returning all these players back to their teams, it would be a soft reset.

30m rule means that players bought lower than that will be discarded for 'free' (as in you open up a slot in your team but don't receive any money).

If you want to recoup some money on those players you have until this evening to do so.

You'd definitely do that! No one can afford to spend to spend more than 40m on any player right now, except Norris. You sell Khan for 60m, buy him back for 15m which is enough to outbid on some other player

In the current scenario, I will be over my budget by 2m if I take back McGrath. So I will have to sell Larwood to get 4m, which leaves with 2m.

if @Samid is fine we can do that and maybe roll back on this fiasco.

I have 53m. I sold McGrath for 57m. So if I take back McGrath, I am at -4m.

I have Larwood which I bought for 14m. I sell him for 4m. So actually I won't be left with 2m, I will be at 0m with Larwood gone from the team and not over budget.

You're still losing a player for no reason.

If you bid your remaining budget on McGrath, you can have him. Only me and Norris are in this, and one of us will end up with Warne anyway
