Copa del Rey - 2017/18

Tomorrow at 8:30(UK) against a team called Fuenlabrada who I've never heard of. Apparently they're in Madrid, the stadium holds 2500 and they're in the 2Bs. It's like winning the lottery for them.
Yeah, they are from The Community of Madrid.

I looked them up on wikipedia and their stadium is named Fernando Torres in honour of the still playing Fernando Torres from Atleti. That was surprising, he never even played for them

He did leave some players at home, but it was more or less a new back four from last season. De Marcos and Balenziaga both out because of sprained ankles. Yeray trying to get his fitness back up. Laporte/Nunez left at home.
Just out of curiosity: why do you like Bilbao? :)

A quick Wiki search says Torres was born in Fuenlabrada, that probably explains it.

To be different I suppose. All you get is Real/Barca so following a lesser light, even a very historic one is more interesting. Also I get to see more of their league games on TV than United's at times.
Good choice. It's always good to support less famous clubs abroad :)

Follow my local side Barrow in the National League. Complete thankless task at the moment.
So you need some foreign teams besides United to follow to cheer you up :D

Thanks god for me now my italian team Parma are climbing up the table in Serie B. We are 4th.

Even your team being in a lower division if they are competitive it still brings some excitement. Barrow are sinking down their league and it will not be great if we are relegated.

Suarez was onside there. Poor decision. Iniesta almost makes it 3. Super football here!

Any idea when the draw for the next round is?

Barca vs Vigo on in the 2nd leg. First leg away finished 1-1.
Any idea when the draws and schedules for the next round are out?

Draw will be tomorrow morning at 12:30 (11:30 in UK)

Matches would start next wednesday I think, as I've read somewhere that we could have another Madrid - Barcelona next week

Edit: Matches would be the week of 17 and 24 this month, so basically the next two weeks

I'm in Barcelona next Thursday so I'm praying Barca have a game that day and at home. If it's Madrid I definitely won't end up getting tickets for that

Edit: Yeah, the semis will be all wrapped up in the first ten days of Feb if last years schedule is anything to go by.
