Cop in America doing a bad job, again

Just saw this on YouTube, can’t see how the cop could possibly use the ‘reasonable fear’ horseshit excuse this time, but he undoubtedly will do so. It is a shame that psychopaths like this can get into a police force & can get the ability to use their service weapon with virtual impunity.

Apparently the police have issued a comment that they are looking for the man who filmed the murder & are dismayed that ‘tragic events like this are posted online on social media.’

Yeah, that’s the most important thing here...

Hey that’s not fair...

There’s black policemen too.

And to mix it up a little for you before it goes stale, here’s something a little different too!

Philadelphia Bombing compensated. good job.

Why didn't he do himself any favours?? That was probably the 400th time he'd been approached by cops for no reason. And your last statement pretty much sums up the state of the US police. The fact that 'trigger happy' cops are even a thing in America is just fecked up.
If a cop asks me for my ID I would give it to him so why they act like ass holes when a cop approaches them?

Who's they? Also that's easy to say isn't it? Some people subconsciously act prickly when they feel like someone is taking the piss, a lot of white people won't take shit so why should 'they'?

While it certainly looks like a case of mistaken identity and the police fecked up, the guy didn’t do himself any favors there imo. Things could have ended very badly if a trigger-happy cop was involved.

So while the raper fecked up, she didn't make herself any favour to dress like slut, right?

Are you for real? There's nothing different between a case of mistaken identity and raping someone, right?

Is absolutely a good analogy. I am not comparing crimes. I am comparing the despicable attitude to partially blame the victim when the victim has 100% right to behave or dress the way they want. Is their right and the ones that do the things wrong have no extenuating reason and the victim has no blame at all, even partially

Amazing how the cop managed to make himself to be the victim who was scared for his life, while holding a gun and a tazer.

Fair to say the guy in the video is likely going to have some trauma or anxiety over this incident (or already has) and is unlikely to trust the police anytime soon.

So he preemptively resigned to get the bonus money, no doubt in half a year or so he’ll turn up in another police department and continue his stellar record.

I highly doubt it's "bonus money". He likely has unused accrued vacation and/or sick time that will last him to the next year and is probably being allowed to use that as part of a deal to resign in lieu of termination.

Would seriously love to know what on earth was going through the cops mind there. How could he even go back to his family and friends after they all see the footage, I'd have to change my name and flee the country if that was me I'd be so embarrassed. And why on earth did the other 7 back-up officers all feel the need to draw their guns at a guy stood 30 feet away with a litter picker. It's actually mental.

crazy video of officer getting ambushed during foot pursuit through a housing project. Quick-thinking to draw his gun on the piece-of-shit as it could have been much worse and...deadly. Very lucky to be alive and recover from his injuries.

Man, that must be scary having a load of people closing in and not knowing if there's any more like that dickhead.

They're part of the gang unit so they might have different protocols from regular patrol units, but it's usually not a good idea to be going into the projects with just you and your partner and no back-up. Definitely scary though.

officers encountered a woman with a gun pointed at herself
"at some point an officer involved shooting occured"
the woman was shot. no officers were injured

love the passive voice thats always used. the police who pull the trigger never bear any actual responsibility.

No video?
Did she turn the gun on them?
It's rather ambiguous isn't it?

It's supposed to be passive, and factual, being the official department twitter account and all.
