I didn't watch full game, just watched extended highlights. How were they robbed?
Offside goal was close call and other goal looked foul on Forster.
Also looked like Southampton were unlucky in the last min, when they had 2 players free to run entire length of the pitch, ref blew final whistle.

I watched post match analysis where they brought ex ref Dermot Gallagher, he said it's a foul by Doherty. Kasper Schmeichel had one hand on the ball few weeks ago, Forster had ball against his chest, that is deemed as GK in control of the ball as per the ref. Doherty then bumped into GK which made him to lose possession. This is the explanation he gave.
Also for offside, he said this didn't fall into tolerance level, so it was given offside.
I see them setting up negatively. I don't see it ending up well for them.
The game against Liverpool, Robertson was sent off with 13 mins left. Although they should have won considering the amount of chances they blew.
i don’t think it’s Doherty bumping into Forster. I think they both attempt to challenge and bump into each other. Forster then loses control of the ball an decks up. GKs are far too protected.
Ref said Doherty taking this eyes off the ball means he didn't make genuine attempt to play the ball.
It was close call, at the time of contact GK had ball against his chest so that counts as GK in control of possession, at least that's what ex ref said.

He hasn’t made an impact in an attacking sense at all. All well and could making them hard to beat but they aren’t getting top 4 with forward play like that

Yes he has not made much impact attacking sense, as today apart from the goal from Sanchez they were terrible. But we need to credit Conte for the change he has brought to the Spurs side. They were looking like bunch of uninterested gays in a lesbian orgy. Now they all are working hard and trying atleast.
He can't make a silk purse out of that squad.

Performances today and in the Southampton match weren't great but the reality is that this is a squad absolutely littered with average players sadly. I'd quite happily move most of the squad on if given the opportunity.

HE has transformed us from what we were under Jose and Nuno, night and day. At home we are fine away when teams park it we struggle for sure, he needs signings this month.
this is factually incorrect. They have improved by literally every metric. With excellent signings, they'll only improve. Btw, the importance of grinding out 1-0 wins even when you're playing poor cannot be understated.
Limited squad brilliant manager. Give him the summer transfer window and backing and they will be pretty decent.

His ability to extract 200% of his players physically is what makes him an elite. IMO only him and Klopp can extract so much from limited squads.

Isn't that exactly the manager who he should be compared to? It would seem logical to compare him to his direct predecessor when refuting the statement "He hasn’t made an impact in an attacking sense at all" instead of skipping him and going back to the one before that.

They had 10 2+ xG games all of last season. Under Mourinho they managed 11 PL games of 2+ xG in a little over a full season's worth of games. 5 in 7 so far under Conte(of which we have fbref data)
Saw a graphic with a rolling 10 games xGD going back to the beginning of last season and even at their best under Mourinho it wasn't even close to what it is now
Btw, averaging 2+ xG per game is the sign of a great attack

Their run of games hasn't been that hard though so you'd expect them to create numerous chances against some of bottom 6 teams with front three of Kane, Son and Moura. That said their xG in most of the games under Nuno was abysmal.

We are 6th, 2 points behind 4th with 2 games in hand, despite a horrendous start.
You had a terrible September. Won your first 3 and then the two in early October v us and Newcastle so overall 5 wins from first 8 games.
Spurs however still have to go to both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester who could well have improved and beat Liverpool the other day so that's a very tough schedule to get close to 70 points unless you just win every single home game left.
Arsenal by contrast have played all of those away bar Chelsea so I'd give them the slight edge until Spurs go to Old Trafford and win 6-1 again perhaps.

I actually think you'd be pretty similar shape in table if Nuno was still there tbh although given way crowd turned in the Man. United game and Conte suddenly wanting the job and it became easy decision to dismiss him.
