Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather | Again?

Damn, just lost 15k. Seemed staged. Conner gassed to quickly. And I do not believe the referee should have stop the fight. I wanted to see a knockdown lol.

Had to stop it at that point. Mayweather was battering him around silly.

Feck sake!
Why didn't the ref let Floyd smack him to the ground?
That's what i was staying up for... Wanted to see the cnut lying there with his face teared open.

I hate how Cnuty McCnutface always is so humble and friendly after a fight he loses, after being the biggest dick on the planet in the building up for the fights.
Go to sleep

Thought conor did as well as he could have. His best shot was knocking Mayweather out early.
He isnt a boxer.. did ok.

Shouldnt have been a fight. Easy money for both sides. Neither would be embarrassed.

Can't believe McGregor made it to the 10th

Gave a hell of a lot better of a fight than I thought possible
Why? Floyd isn't a power puncher and he's old and has slowed up. Connor can take a punch.

Floyd was always going to take a few rounds to size him up, tire him out and then go to work.

Does Steve Bunce have some kind of beef with Floyd...? Why are they slating him on BBC and still now praising the guy who just lost?

It's almost patronizing to Mcgregor. He lost, and was toyed with for the last 3 rounds by a 40 year old who's NEVER been a KO merchant.

Probably the way they've been marketing it. Constant mentions of McGregor being the underdog etc to hype it. Saying Mayweather beat an inferior opponent isn't as good a narrative for them.

Extremely proud of Conor. He did a fantastic job.

Exactly, I get people want to stick the boot in because of his persona but i know many will have been surprised with his hands and movement, not troubling Floyd is no great shame.

I think it reflects poorly on the boxing 'purists'.

Floyd toyed with him. Credit to McGregor for getting into the ring but Floyd probably had tougher sparring sessions.

Ends with 50-0. Great boxer, not everyone's favourite but no denying that he knows how to win & tactically one of the best.

No need for that mate.

I can't stand Mcgregor, but cmon, no need for that.

Not too bad a fight, but not great. Floyd wins as expected but Connor was still stood up and beating by being knackered not hurt. Pauli Malliganni said when he's hurt and tired he needs to learn how to survive, but he didn't really ever look hurt to me.

I'd say Connor was tired since round 6 but we saw him breathing heavier than Floyd since before that.

Someone's jealous? McGregor was well beaten there, but he is always humble after a fight, win or lose.

how do you guys reckon McGregor would do against the average boxer?
this did look a little staged.

McGregor has gassed in UFC fights early enough and those fighters are nowhere near the class of Mayweather, nor are they fighting him in a sport in which he doesn't specialise. You could stage slowing down but he was clearly blowing, that wasn't staged that was him having run out of steam. The referee had to step in, he was offering nothing back and it was going to get dangerous. McGregor's reputation will rightly be enhanced, even if he offered very little, because he stuck in there for so long and Mayweather now has a lot of money to blow again.

Against a hungry boxer in his prime, with no ulterior motives? Even worse. Floyd was stringing him along for a while.

Depends who. Mayweather was arguably an ideal opponent for him because he's typically someone who takes it to later rounds. Someone more well-known for early knockouts would probably end it quicker.

Always humble? He spent the entire build-up promising to knock out the greatest boxer of this generation in 2 rounds.

The man's a greedy, shameless prick and an embarrassment to your country tbh.
