If you say so.

Why are there individual pixels all around Mayweathers head, and poor pixelling on his waist band and on his pointed fingers? Literally looks like someone has cut round him and pasted him into that picture.

What do you guys think would constitute McGregor "doing well" in the fight?

Winning a round. Alternatively, landing a clean shot on Floyd that stuns him or knocks him down. If any of these things happen, Conor will have given a good account of himself and MMA in general and will walk away widely respected.

What time is it likely to be on at? I want to set my alarm and watch it, but not gonna bother if it could be any time between 4 and 6 am.

I've seen figures as high as 50% and as low as 15%. No idea but you'd expect it to become public knowledge after the fight.
They really shouldn't take much. They've done some promoting to bring in the MMA audience but it's Floyd's show, his fighters, his Network.

I'm not sure how it's being done either. As in, that 30m you'd expect is what Conor gets either way. The UFC's cut is more than likely separate from that.

Mayweather is the big attraction but the UFC had to agree to it and had McGregor under contract. It's also a fight that Mayweather needed Mcgregor for. He didn't want to face any elite level boxers and no one else in the game could have generated this amount of interest once you take that attribute out.

The fight is expected to rake in between $700m to $1b, so obviously that will weigh heavily into how much each fighter winds up making. If it makes 700m, Floyd will likely make somewhere in the 200-300m range and Conor 100m.

Mayweather stoppage somewhere between rounds 7-9.

I think he'll wait for McGregor to grow tired and frustrated after six or seven rounds before dismantling him. Pretty similar to the Hatton fight overall.

TKO.

That's a good shout actually. In terms of the atmosphere as well it will be very similar with the bunch of mancs that were there for Hatton and now the Irish for Mcgregor. The fight won't be similar though, Mayweather won't make it as much of a competition against McGregor the way he did vs Hatton. First couple rounds imo.

Very interesting seeing how Conor is talked about in here, also. I was always under the impression that he was liked by many and respected. Always seemed like he was/is the face of the UFC with a massive fanbase. Thought he was the one that the majority cheered for.

Shows how much i'm out of the loop when it comes UFC or Boxing.

yeah he's definitely got a bit of a beer belly alright..

You simply cannot knock a man who has made such an impression in a short space of time that he's fought and talked his way Into a fight in a sport he's never competed in, and it's likely to make him north of $75million.

Hope it's a spectacle, but don't expect either man to try and please the crowd. When the bell goes, the money's made and neither gives a toss about whether or not we enjoy it, it's about winning.

The more I've thought about it, I see Mayweather forcing a round 1 stoppage. If he rocks conor even once, he'll be able to finish him off with relative ease.

I'd sooner take a punch off mcgregor in boxing gloves than I would cotto or Canelo, and Floyd took them with ease.

The only way conor wins this IMO is a clash of heads, mayweathers eye shutting and mcgregor going all guns blazing.

How is everyone watching this? I'm tempted to go out with friends but it is just so late. I may just set an alarm and watch it online if that's possible

As someone who doesn't know much about MMA and knows even less about boxing, am I right in saying the chances of McGregor winning this are roughly the same as a Conference team would have of beating Real Madrid?
