They are very pointless. The only thing Mayweather cares about is money and hes much richer than Connor, earns more per fight etc. Just isn't going to wind him up.
People need to stop taking this so seriously, just enjoy the entertainment, i'm finding it quite funny.
7pm for the London presser.
Making it rain on the stripper - 10-8 Mayweather
New York crowd was garbage though. Totally sucked the energy out of the occasion.
Saw an interview with mayweather claiming mcgregor used the word monkey?
This is better than the pressers!
Yeah, I thought I heard the commentary team mention something along those lines. Really crappy from both fighters. They had to wait for 2 hours to be fair and put up with that god awful rapper before the fighters came out.
Shows you the difference once again between a Canadian and American crowd, they were waiting almost the same length of time in Toronto but the crowd was fecking electric.
Wouldn't surprise me. He's made questionable comments before.Saw an interview with mayweather claiming mcgregor used the word monkey?
All seems very forced to be honest. I'm a huge McGregor fan, and I actually think in the build up to fights with guys like Aldo, Mendez, Diaz, he genuinely didn't like them, and it showed. I don't get that in this tour, I don't feel that genuine mutual hatred of each other, and to compensate for that they are forcing it and overdoing it. Also there has been 2 many stops too quickly together, which hasn't helped. The crowd in NY were terrible. London will probably reinvigorate the whole thing, as you know the crowd there will be nuts. Get the talking over as it's all going a bit WWE. Both men are legends in their own rite, I don't think we need the panto sideshow to promote it. One promo event stateside, and one in Britain/Ireland would have been suffice imo.

Congrats, you're a regular Warren Buffet.I have expanded my business to 4 countries, I think I'm not too shabby. Also, I have come out as a victor in the case.
Half expecting Conor to do a Jerry Maguire and scream "I love black people!!"There's no hatred of one another at all. Nor was there much during Conor's UFC fights. Its all an act to hype up the masses so he makes more on the back end via PPV points.
The Mayweather-Conor stuff is even worse than the worst WWE stuff. Absolutely shambolic.
I think I agree with this.
He's more stupid than malicious but it's definitely a bad thing to have such a high profile character come out with the stuff he's been coming out with.
The New York one looks shite, just lacked atmosphere and you can tell that Conor was obviously expecting something to bounce off of.
The crowd were reasonably good when he first came on, then-like most people with any ounce of sense- they realized his speech was just shite and pointless so they became an understandably boring crowd.
Great article.I think I agree with this.

Great article.
Its hard to explain the offense caused by McGregor's comments but I think that article did a good job. It really hasn't helped that Conor has been getting away with similarly offensive comments towards RDA and Aldo, with MMA media just laughing it off.
Only the political correct dryshites (people with too much time on their hands) would have a problem with anything McGregor comes out with.
Stereotyping & sexualising both black men and women, in an attempt to justify previous potential racist remarks?
Yeah, political correctness gone mad that.
I read a good similie for this fight, it's like a triathlete going up against Michael phelps in the pool.

According to the Mirror both McGregor and Mayweather were spotted getting off the same private jet?
I knew it was a work but daaaamn. Theyre seemingly not even trying now.
He wasn't stereotyping or sexualizing black people, he was paying them compliments. If everyone that came out with comments similar to his were deemed racists well then the world would be absolutely full to the gills with racists.
No need to be so sensitive about things like that. McGregor is only having a laugh. There's no harm meant.
They're not reliable with football transfers so why would they be reliable with something like that
