Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather | Again?

Why am I torturing myself with this nonsense 3 nights in a row. I'm fecking bolloxed here. And who's this cnut singing?

This is a disaster.
How many times has bitch been said over the last 3 days?
Now Conor has the visual of looking like that with money reigning down. That's a great fecking visual for him

my god those two jersey shore lookin juice heads. absolute state of them. little owen roddy would spark the two of em out.

anyway, this was shit. the whole entourage on entourage thing was fake as feck also.

They just lost a lot of interest After that debacle, no way this breaks the mayweather pacquiao numbers

I was about to post the same thing.
Telling the fans they're only there to line his pockets was a huge mistake, I know for a fact there's no way I'm ordering it now simply because he's correct in what he's saying.
plus Floyd's entourage would get eaten alive by Conor's crew, they're trained MMA fighters for feck sake.
Staged as hell and a shitshow on top of it.

I wouldn't underestimate the appeal of a 'freak show'.

Few will expect a contest but enough will be curious enough to see if the guy who isn't a boxer can get a lucky shot against the guy who is pretending he still is one (despite ducking any actual challenge).

I mean I know it's all pretty much scripted, but there was never undeniable confirmation until tonight when there was music queued up for mayweather when he gave his punchline.

Mcgregor embarrassed himself tonight, he didn't look confident in that polar bear outfit he just looked like a bellend.

This is all an absolute farce, a terrible thing and disrespectful to the sport of Boxing.

But I can't keep my eyes off of it, and I am ashamed of myself.

I'd like to think that I have enough self-control not to buy the fight, but I'd even be disappointed with myself for watching the fight for free at a buddy's house. You just know this is gonna be a colossal waste of time and such a massive disappointment.

Floyd talking tough is funny
The truth is, if it wasnt a boxing match, McGregor would tear Floyd apart.

Ball firmly in Mayweathers court for the fight obviously but McGregor might break him with these pressers like he did with Aldo.

If FM comes out swinging for a knock out like Aldo out of pure rage McGregor will knock him out in 3 rounds.

Ifs and buts...

Floyd is the most risk averse fighter I can remember. The idea of him coming out swinging is an amusing one.

People need to stop taking this so seriously, just enjoy the entertainment, i'm finding it quite funny.

Yeah no chance Floyd coming out swinging, he might act erratic outside the ring but once in there he's one of the most composed fighters.

Problem is for McGregor is it is a boxing match. He can use the "real fight" stuff all he likes but he signed up to this and knew what it was. You can't complain about the rules after challenging someone to a boxing match and then use the limited ruleset as an excuse. Tough shit.

The crowd was awful. Maybe they were tired for waiting too long.

I can't blame the crowd at all. It was one of the worst press conferences I've seen. Both of them were embarrassing (McGregor more so)

Mayweather was doing the press conference stuff long before McGregor and knows all the antics, there's no way he gets phased like Aldo seemed to. McGregor taking the belt off Aldo got him fuming, Mayweather didn't seem arsed in the slightest when he took that bag. He's done it for years, the Hatton and especially DLH press conferences and build up was the perfect example of what he was like.

The press conference was terrible I think the format has gone on to long and they were stretching it a bit with 3 in 3 days. McGregor was far more likeable in the first 2 this one he was trying to hard I thought. It's obviously all somewhat staged but I did enjoy the first 2 I felt this one was a bit cringing though. I expect the 4th one to have some kind of kick off with the teams and then ending with a bang, it seems all to obvious. Dunno if Conor will mention the beating up women stuff it might put people off.

FOr all the talk of winners and losers of press conferences Floyd is really the real winner, it's his promotion putting on these events and making more money from this than anyone he loves all the shit McGregor is saying if it gets people buying the fight.

I've enjoyed the first 2 for what they were, that one was just a bit shit though.

You're probably the worst punter I've ever come across.
And you are probably the laziest poster I have come across seeing your inability to read my reason for placing that bet.

His business acumen ain't much better. :nervous:
Taking it personal now eh? Considering, I have expanded my business to 4 countries, I think I'm not too shabby. Also, I have come out as a victor in the case.

Fair enough, i haven't seen the latest one yet, will watch it later. They are both good entertainers imo, so i quite like watching the antics before their fights.

This is better than the pressers!

Do yourself a favour, take my word for it and don't watch it, especially if you're enjoying the whole show right now, this one will ruin it for you

Yeah when they're both on form I like them, good at selling fights (Mayweather's whole thing in his last few years was people paid to hope he lost) but the NY one isn't the best mate. It's only pretty short once you skip through all the build up shite though.
