I should add a disclaimer that I am sick, absolutely sick of hearing "Trap Queen".

That came on in the gym and whilst that song is completely overplayed for me I couldn't help but be happy, me in England listening to Fetty Wap in the Gym FFS. I also think My Way is better than Trap Queen, even without a Drake verse.

Wayne found some semblance of his former self after he hopped on Take Kare with Young Thug IMO, still will wash anyone on a guest verse but I don't really care much for his solo stuff anymore. It's honestly crazy how he can A.I. crossover any current-gen rapper (apart from Thug, makesuthink) even though he's miles past his best.

Went to the Nas ILLmatic tour in Birmingham yesterday, it was good if not slightly overbearing in nostalgia but I don't know what I expected going to a concert based on an album that came out 21 years or so ago. Also shoutout to Tim Westwood who played a Biggie song, said RIP to Biggie and then immediately played Hit 'Em Up straight after FFS.

 I just pictured that in my head..

"RIP to BIGGIE"
"That's why i fecked your bitch you fat motherfecker"

Well that escalated quickly.

Honestly that's what happened and I'm surprised I was the only one around me laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of it all, of all the 'Pac songs to play straight after .

 Just got back from the London equivalent and I too was wondering what in the world he was thinking of with that combo. Loved hearing all of Illmatic live.

Favourite rap releases of 2015 thus far? Mine personal favourites:

1) Future - 56 Nights
2) Rae Sremmurd - Sremmlife
3) Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly
4) Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit I Don't Go Outside
5) The 3 phenomenal Young Thug albums I made from his leaks

Looking forward to the Vince Staples double album dropping at the end of the month and Meek Mill said his album is coming this month too. Mick Jenkins EP should be great as well.

Can you elaborate on #5 please?

Last month like 80 Young Thug songs leaked and I listened to them all and trimmed them into 3 albums and they are good, especially the Young Thug x London On Tha Track one I made.

If you mean why do I like Young Thug then it's just the way he delivers his raps, he's my favourite performer at the moment.

I like young thug also. I was curious as to where you stashed them 3 albums...

Los killed the end of that freestyle.

New Meek Mill album and a new Young Thug mixtape next week .

Meek Mill album is good, a bit too down tempo for my liking, I would have liked more songs in the vein of Monster, Ice Cream and B Boy. Future lost his his god damn mind on his feature though, easily the best rapper out right now.

I'm all for pointless mogul stunting in rap songs but what the hell is Diddy on about on Cold Hearted?
