Didn't expect LL to still be so damn good.

Didn't expect LL to still be so damn good.

Post 2000 album (The G.O.A.T), after basically finishing the beef with Canibus, he was so busy doing NCIS and TV that he never really took his albums serious, paired up with poor beat makers and just fell off. LL works best when he does an album with one producer as executive producer doing the entire album. No surprise that he pairs with Q-Tip and looks sharp. He worked on an album produced by Dre, which is likely to be the next one. They did around 40 tracks.

This one isn't really a diss as far as I can tell.

Some think it is; most think it's not. I'm the latter after listening.

Still, never a bad time to post this :-

56 years old and did a 6 minute live set (with a cameo by Public Enemy) at the VMA's. His vocal projections are so good live, and he's got so much live energy and never hides behind lipsync performances. It's insane for a man that age to have that kind of breath control, and projection.

The Rich Homie Quan news was upsetting. RHQ, along with some others of course, more or less pioneered that 2015-ish wave of Atlanta rap.

On another note, what is it with laced pills in America in the last few years?

Amen.

Dropped one of the biggest tracks of 2014 with Thugga. Couldn't comprehend a thing yet found it so catchy.

Rip Brownsville KA, one of the greatest to pick up the pen
Yeah this was really sad news.

I think he was on a career high the last few years and very productive. Really sad this.
I've listened to Ka's albums every Friday when I take a bath and read a book ever since the Orpheus album. The last two Friday baths have been quite bleak.

I bet folks didn't know Snoop and the Eastsidaz dropped a new music video the other day? Snoop's 'Missionary' album, produced by Dre himself, drops in December too.

This is a straight throwback to G-Funk 90's Snoop/Eastsidaz, and a brilliant sample of S.O.S. Band's "Just be good to me".

Ain't no party like a Ka bath party.

The ”Still Easty” EP is one of my favorites this year. Was a huge fan of Goldie and Tray earlier so really happy for them.
