Music Commercial Hip Hop Thread

There is a 19 minute version of Euphoria apparently, I bet there is some dark shit on that if it's true or it is just a complete surgical layer by layer lyrical annihilation of Drake, which his fans will never understand because his core fans ain't hip hop fans in any way.

Gross, backpacker simplification

Mainstream pop rap is hip-hop too. And yes, it has always been, from Rapper's Delight to MC Hammer to Puffy to Nelly to the present
Said a hip-hop, the hippie to the hippie
The hip, hip-a-hop and you don't stop rockin'
To the bang, bang the boogie, say up jump the boogie
To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat.

Yeah. Everything went over my head. Well, most of it... You can probably say the same about Drake though

Well I think it's official now after meet the Grahams.

Drake needs to just quit at this point. Kendrick answering within an hour of his attempt at coming back is amazing.

That was definitely pre recorded....

Now that's a diss record. Kendrick up now

He did warn him on the 6:16 song

Both of kendrick's songs are so layered, its very impressive. The mutliple meanings for 6:16 after Drake asked for a quadruple entendre from Kendrick is genius.

Someone give me a run down of the order to listen to. I'm ill, confused and too much is happening. Feel like @Rado_N right now.

Kendrick is on levels Drake can only dream of. Very one-sided. Alchemist on the beat too.

Family Matters was the best effort so far by miles.

Meet The Grahams should end the lads career if the shit in it is true.

The order is first person shooter (Drake and Cole), 7 minute drill (if you can be fecked to listen to J Cole), push ups (Drake), Taylor made freestyle (Drake), like that remix (Dot), euphoria (Dot), 6.16 in LA (Dot), family matters (Drake), meet the Graham's (dot)

I asked earlier too, no one helped. :(

Grassy ass

J.Cole apology too.

He's just kicking him while he's down with meet the Grahams, the lines and bars are crazy. There's not an angle Kendrick hasn't attacked with clear headshots.

"Trying to destroy families rather than take care of his own" Drakes whole narcissistic character is been picked apart with each track. And he dropped an 11 (stranger things) reference in that scheme

Drake going at Rakim should be an automatic L.

Damn this went fast

Drake’s response was pretty good I thought in parts. But then Meet The Grahams. Oof.

Kendrick kept it strictly music beef on like that, Drake went with the personal and family angle and Kendrick said fine.

The cover art is literally a pic of Drake’s drug prescriptions  so he has got a mole inside his crew.

Kendrick saying Drake has sex offenders in his crew and is linked with Diddy and the weird Hollywood/music industry stuff. See how many acknowledge that line in the industry.

I think it’s First Person Shooter, then Kendrick’s verse on Like That actually started this all.

Then it’s:

Drake - Pushups
Drake - Taylor Made Freestyle (got taken down cause it AI’d Tupac)
Kendrick - euphoria
Kendrick - 6:16 in LA
Drake - Family Matters
Kendrick - Meet The Grahams

Yep this is the order.

Can someone list all the disses in the chronological order I should listen to them please

edit: nvm seen someone has posted above

I don't think this is just a Kendrick vs Drake thing, it's a Kendrick vs the industry he has made multiple references to F the industry, and the weird goings on. This is Kendrick vs the evil empire, he basically labeled Drake as Diddy 2.0.

This back and forth is no longer fun. They need to meet up in a boxing ring, take out their frustrations on each other, then do a photo shoot somewhere with all their children and children's mothers, laughing and having fun. J Cole can host.

Two good tracks. The middle beat of Family Matters is the best rapping we've seen so far from the two imo but the content in Meet the Grahams is better.

These are probably the two tracks both have been referring to throughout as the 'final nail'.

Drake started a fight he has no chance in winning. Many ghost workers in LA getting fired.

What’s the basis for all the pedo claims? With the whole sliding into Millie Bobby Brown’s DMs situation (cos I know that was one of the things that raised eyebrows) …I don’t think he had dark motives - I think it was just Drake’s usual putting himself in proximity with whoever and whatever’s currently popping in whatever industry - and we all know he doesn’t discriminate in that regard, young or old; man or woman. Or did more stuff come out?

There was a concert where he got a girl up on stage. Then she said she was 15 or something like that. Then he said "I don't give a feck" and grinded on her.

Not wordd for word but something along those lines.

I don't know if that's public knowledge but I know it happened because my brother was at the gig.

I bet there's more, I'm not a huge hip-hop fan these days so I probably missed it.
