I understand that but if the paperwork has gone through then it is tough luck isn't it?

SSN still saying United have signed Coentrao with no mention of the deal being off. I think people are putting two and two together and getting five at the moment.
 
You sort of have to admire SSN, just ploughing ahead about this deal being done, when it's pretty apparent it's not going to go through.

What a load of bollocks. Yet another cock up on someones part. I am going to post about this elsewhere. Whilst I am not concerned about our squad for this season I can't help but be enraged with the way we have done things this summer. Let's hope this is a baptism of fire for Moyes and it never happens again. The Glazers need to look at this shambles as for all they stick they get on here they are not stupid and must see what circus has followed us around regarding transfers this summer.

Would only get done after the transfer deadline I'd imagine.
 
So it fell apart, but it probably wasn't our fault. We'll have to take that as a win on a night like this.
 
You can blame a combination of Madrid being the dicks that they always are and then the other cnuts Benfica deciding to suddenly come in and snatch their replacement LB at the last minute.

Ah well.
 
It is annoying, but i'd say get him in the winter or something.

We still have Evra and Fabio (Da Silva), so we should be ok on that score.

I've read here in Portugal that Benfica had the deal done a while ago, Real tried to snatch him at the last minute but failed.
 


Just about everywhere now.

Well done. Don't particularly need a left back, but let's spectacularly fail to sign one anyway, epically, just to make a bigger cows arse out of an already shit sandwich of a transfer window.
