Shock horror that someone spending over £5bn wants to re-evaluate the company structure.

I mean I’d be worried for my job also if I’d overseen 10 years of absolute fecking shite while getting paid massive money. It’s okay though, I’m sure these very talented individuals will get a job at another top club in absolutely no time at all…

Pretty simple. We have a top tier manager for this era. However owns us should work in cohesion with that. If Mortough and ETH relationship works why bring in a new guy who might clash.

The club is set to be sold which is the football equivalent to an earthquake of magnitude 9 followed by a Tsunami. New owners would want their own people in place just as the Glazers did and even if they keep those employed they would probably be on buying time. That means that everyone would be on his own.

Why do you think that Murtough had employed so many people all of a sudden? Its evident that he wants to consolidate power which would make it financially difficult for the new owner to get rid off without paying good money.

What's the deal with this guy?

Laughed when I kept seeing them quoted but when I listened, to his credit he actually addressed things that others in the media haven't, and he seems to tweet about things that are about to break shortly before they do

I heard that if things go wrong then Fletcher will probably move to Cheshire road in Wilmslow ;)

Who did the Glazers get rid of mate? They’ll shift the board room. Doubt they’ll do much else on the football side of things.

of course they are going to look at the structure of the club...they are businessmen and won't just want to throw away money especially for redundancies

Gill was replaced by Woodward whom in turn brought Judge and promoted Arnold (all of whom are from the Uni of Bristol). Woodward was said to have micromanaged everything around United which explains why many people got promoted despite having zero experience in the job (Murtough, Fletcher etc).

He appears to have some decent sources

The Glazers has no ambition and took over a successful club on and off the pitch. Utd are no longer successful on or off the pitch and the next owners are going to have a completely different approach.

I’d expect a big overhaul of senior staff on and off the pitch over first 12-18 months. Given timeframe of takeover looks like dragging on there might not be instant changes but can’t rule out potential new owners already have few people lined up.

Answer the question bro not what works with your convenience. Who Did they bring in?

So based on that. Happy if they decide to sack the manager within that time too?

The current footballing structure will get this summer window at least - it would be idiotic to do anything else. Otherwise you end up with Chelsea’s ridiculous summer going from player to player with no groundwork and zero strategy.

OK they waited for SAF (ie the untouchable golden goose) to leave before they dismantled everything.

Replace the names and legit university qualifications and get the South African government. Ta-daa

No he doesn’t .

If you’ve ever been in the Muppetiers discord it’s a running joke that he’ll often record a video just after major breaking news has broke and claims “my sources told me this a week ago I just could t say anything”.

He’s a well educated and intelligent guy that knows how to summarise what’s in the current media into a package that makes some sense and he has some distant connections in a few areas so occasionally he’ll get some info from time to time on a contract extension or youth player etc.

Having said that I don’t mind these type of accounts and people and for me they provide some entertainment value and sometimes interesting points.

He has a YouTube channel too but I'm not too sure how reliable he is...
Claims he has sources close to INEOS.

Cool cool. So it wasn’t straight away

Also did they kick them out or did they need replacing? Also did they pick the replacement manager?

You should know very well that there are many ways how to get rid of someone. They can retire or resign for example

Yes I’m in the discord

There has also been many times where he’s said something and a week or so later a similar thing gets reported by mainstream media.

of course they will, the way United had been managed for the past 7 years is a shambles.
Correct the headlines should read " There are fears within Old Trafford that the incompetency allowed to exist and spread throughout the last ten years will be operated on and removed." Doctors say Mr Trafford is expected to make a full recovery and feel like he is 21 again.

Not really. The club has been losing money for 3 years, the infrastructure is a mess and the interest rates are set to sky rocket. Its only a matter of time before everyone notice that the emperor has no clothes, which, considering that the emperor in question is Avram Glazer, is not a nice sight.
You have already done the damage by evoking it. My mind is beyond repair now and I’m suing you.

I don’t deal with speculation. It’s either true or not. I believe the greatest manager of all time had his hand in the worse decisions that have affected our club since he left. David Moyes hiring and recommending Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to come in and fix the mess made by Jose. There is no facts on this so I’d never paint it to be true.

Those who are incompetent are the ones worry about potential drastic changes to be implemented by the new owner. People like Arnold and Murtough who were Ed's right hand man and fixer should be worry.

ETH has nothing to worry about.

You're right. He definitely does have some decent sources. I've been following him and watching his videos for quite a while. Very informative.

Well if the manger doesn’t perform he will be sacked, that’s what happens at any club. If the manager does well he’ll keep his job and he hasn’t been at the club for a decade or more like a lot of others. Managers are always held accountable.

The club has been a shit show for the last decade on and off the pitch. It’s just fairly obvious that whoever comes I will be looking to bring in people to change that.

The club is completely different to what Glazers took over, worse in every aspect whether it’s commercially, the academy, infrastructure, performance on the pitch and so on. It’s not the same scenario.

So ole was SAF's idea? Thank god that you don't deal in speculation.

Seriously mate, things started changing as soon as they came. Top players left and they were being replaced by the likes of valencia and obertan. Then SAF left, Gill followed and Woodward came in turning the CEO role from one who focused mostly to the financial side to one that engulfed everything. People close to Woodward were hired or promoted, experience and best in class were replaced with inexperienced people who were simply too grateful to complain while weird decision were being taken that made no football sense (ex jones). Meanwhile managers kept piling up all of whom lamenting about the intrusion and incompetence from the higher ups

It's a wait and see what happens now situation. The Galzers imo are going to sell now, I realy thought and it still might that they won't, reading how there's only 2 of the Glazers who want to keep it, the rest want it sold. So I can see it going now. And it's going to be the Arabs.

I just wouldn't want United involved in a 'multi-club network', especially not with a club like PSG. We don't need anything like that
Yeah we kinda do with Brexit. Makes it much harder for us to buy directly from South America. Having a team like Braga would be brilliant.
