This has been my take on it all along, If they want 6 billion that would mean they need 4 billion to buy out the rest of the family. They are just attempting to get the highest possible amount of money.
I don't think each get money evenly. I'm sure the shares are split differently. I'm guessing Joel and Avram have the larger shared due to them being more involved in the decisions of United day to day, especially Joel, if I'm not mistaken.

I think it’s pretty even. I remember reading Avram owns around 10 percent of the 75 percent the Glazers collectively own

Nonsense. People are getting very confused by, (or being deliberately obtuse) regarding the word "intentions". Ten Hag was referring to Avram's appearance yesterday as showing his intentions (i.e the current owner giving a shit about the club).
Did you ask Ten Hag to expand on what he said or has he since added further clarification? If so, please share.

If they don’t sell they are totally f**ked financially. They’re selling. It’s really that simple. This is all posturing and everyone on every side knows it. But it still always needs to happen.

This account seemed to be one of the first to break the Rashford goal change yesterday and it gets the early team sheet as well so take this as you will

I didn't ask him, nor did he need to add any further clarification. What ten Hag said was very self-explanatory and didn't require surgically disecting. He has made it clear on numerous occasions that he isn't in the business of talking about any speculation regarding the club's ownership.

Probably found out some of the staff earn above minimum wage

"Wait, they get a bonus for winning?"

I thought he looked proper awkward kind of thing where a boss ends up at the work party but doesn’t put money behind the bar or attempts to socialise.

He was just lingering.

Just sell mate, loads of cash sail to the sunset and enjoy some mimosas on your private Yacht.

They've always been like that in truth.

If we don’t get bought out by Qatar they will buy someone else. Rather us than someone like Tottenham or liverpool. Sad but true.

They´re inicially getting very reasonable offer from the Elliotts. Couple more years they want to stay, hoping for Superleague/New TV rights/or at least improved sponzorship deals. Easy 20-30mil a year earnings plus selling MUFC for close to 6bil in a couple years time. They just dont consider that an Elliott will royally feck them up with Glazer´ brothers crawling back home almost empty handed like Hicks and Gillet.

I also thought these 2 had a bigger stake. Let us just hope this will be over soon and our debt is gone

Not happening. The fans won't allow it and I'm pretty sure there are rules stipulating it's not allowed to happen? I might be wrong on that last part though.

Glazers staying is possible, sure. But like many have said already - why? Why stay? If it was Roman, who was at nearly every Chelsea match - he lived and breathed Chelsea. I'd agree. But the Glazers? They care about one thing: cash. And Qatar has lots of it.

So, the Glazers would bring in and accept the offer from Elliotts?

The freaking Milwaukee Bucks (a small market NBA team with a very small fan base) were just sold for 3.5 billion this past weekend. If that's the going rate for a tiny NBA team in the American midwest is going for, I would think the Glazers could get close to 6 billion for United right now.

While you’re right, American franchises are a much safer investment due to the socialist (lol) nature of the leagues

Avram and Joel will do. Elliott pay off the rest of the family. Thats their modus operandi. Then they squeeze the couple brothers off the whole business.

That sounds even more dangerous than the Glazers to be fair. Could create a lot of instability around the club when they get kicked out.

Personally think the rumours of Joel and Avram wanting to stay, the bids not being high enough and Avram turning up yesterday are just tactics to drive the price up for a full sale. I don't think any minortiy investment bids will be good enough for them to help fund the clubs growth (clear debt/stadium/team investment) that will allow them to keep taking as much money as they have out the club.

So, on the basis that the Glazers want around 5bn for the club, but they don't get this and decide not to sell. So, how much will the remaining 4 siblings be willing to receive to leave the club?
