What's Jimmy's first real test?
Answering this seriously - isn’t the biggest thing done already by getting Berrada? I assume he himself will now be the one to have the final say on the sporting director / Ten Hag etc.

Ineos’s big test away from that should surely be a decision on the stadium

It would be funny if the club did a self depreciating, Alexis Sanchez piano intro announcement with it being Sir Jim coming out the tunnel on a zimmer
Imagine SJR riding Hans Zimmer on all fours down the tunnel to the theme from Interstellar. I'd spuff my pants.

You do feel this would’ve been shut down long ago if there was nothing in it.

Dread to think how long his gardening leave would be - would be touch and go to make it for the summer window!

Is see everyone is unzipping, clocks out already :D

Seriously, How good is this guy? Like seriously

Unlike players, board room staff are a piece of piss to steal from clubs. They're faceless cockroaches at the end of the day. They'll jump anywhere for a better project. Everyone must be shitting themselves with our ability to appoint Big Omar.

Can somebody explain to me how this 25% share in the club situation works?

I understand SJR will be controlling the football side of things, but wouldnt that mean he basically does all the hard work and the Glazers will take 75% of the profit/success he generates for the club?

Also, how does investment from him/INEOS work? The initial £300m he puts in is out of this pocket but his 25% share doesnt change? Does that actually make that investment more of a loan than a cash injection?

Who pays for the stadium? If the clubs pofits are used for this, wont that affect our ability to spend like it did with Arsenal and Tottenham for so many years?

Very good, his best work is probably the stuff that is talked about least and that was his stint at the FA where he was the lead on Elite Development, did a lot of good work implementing the England DNA and 4 Corners Models for development which you are starting to see the fruits of now in the amount of tournament successes the underage groups have had, and the general amount of good English players coming through at the moment.
