Last season's Carabao.Which of our post fergie trophy wins left you buzzing more than that game?
Fletcher as DOF needs to change as well.
They maybe don't, but they obviously underestimated the complexity and greed of the Glazers as well as how flexible other bidders can be. In the end their own hubris has undone them. Not a good look.I think I just expected more from them. I was lead to believe these guys despise losing and would do whatever it takes etc.
You're crazy.Call me crazy but I'm still not fully convinced that Qatar are fully done.
Good luck to all True Reds here. This is me signing off from this forum.
I have been Pro-Qatar for a while for a simple fact, demanding results from everyone.
Pogba, Sanchez, Glazers, Jim, Rashford, all cut from the same cloth. Money without accountability.
following United for almost 27 years has been a great joy, I associated myself with this club even living thousands kilometers away.
From last november I saw a bitter truth, tribalism at its peak across every fiber of our society.
I wanted my team to win, best players & best facilities (never had the money to visit, but that was my life time goal to visit Old Trafford) , my team has been at the top of mt. everest of football for generations, unfortunately there's nothing going to change. And taking emotional toll which I cannot take it any more.
Lack of unity on this forum shows what Glazers have done to us. Its been 10 years since our better days, we have been smacked around by our fiercest rivals, yet Jim is the answer. (either get the money or get competency atleast if both are not possible).
My 4 year old has been singing Glory Glory from last 2 years. I hope he succeeds in following his team for his life.
Thank you for everything friends.
If you’ve followed United for 27 years you have been spoiled beyond the wildest life time dreams of most football fans. Honestly have a word with yourself.Good luck to all True Reds here. This is me signing off from this forum.

They don’t like the truth, they’re American after allThe famously thick-skinned Glazers' feelings got hurt?
They really think everyone else is stupid, the fecking lizards.
Turned out AI imagining isn't yet at the stage where it can out bid an old geezer.
I agree but then again, it's not like they haven't seen that buying lower and investing more doesn't result in better business outcomes, so I can see why they said feck it.I think I just expected more from them. I was lead to believe these guys despise losing and would do whatever it takes etc.

Part of me thinks they secretly loath our fanbase.
Hated by millions and carry on holding onto their asset when they’ve already made 10x their money.
Fans should have a decision IF a fair market valuation is met for a club regardless of who owns it.
United should be in the public domain partly at least. We should be partly protected by the UK government in my eyes. Selling our own clubs abroad at a whim is a sign of how weak our country is.
The Premier league and our government don’t give a damn about protecting culture. It’s a completely unregulated market.
They’ll use the excuse capitalism to encourage investment but they are just selling UK culture to anyone with a big enough cheque regardless of intent.
It’s so reckless and so amateur.
My take is this is the PR angle. The truth is Glazers are very hands off (to the point I actually don’t think they are interested) so Sir Jim can come in, we announce some stuff, and fans lap it up.Why would the Glazers give up footballing control? It looks like they think the money is with the TV deals, which they will be managing. To be fair, they are better at the commercial side than the football side - still not great but at least passable.
Let it go or else it’s gonna haunt you forever. Your mind isn’t accepting the reality. Spin the totem top and come out if it.Call me crazy but I'm still not fully convinced that Qatar are fully done.
Really? Not one of our actual trophy wins?
Fair weather fan. Goodbye!

I was convinced the Glazers/Raine were just using Ratcliffe to get the biggest possible bid from the Qataris. That theory goes out the window if this Ratcliffe deal happens.Call me crazy but I'm still not fully convinced that Qatar are fully done.
The latter.Or The Glazers have come to the realization that they are ill equipped at making the decisions needed to make the club a sucess.
Or, they don't care about the football side and are happy to let Jim play with that for a cost of $1.8bil.
What I don't understand is why Jassim didn't just offer the same bid as Ratcliffe if it leads to full control in a few years anyway.
If a man at 70 is doing it why can't Jassim who is barely over half his age? He could have played the long game just the same and got his 'boyhood' club.
The latter.
When have the Glazers shown a shred of interested in football in general? I don’t know who turns up less to watch games, them or City’s Sheikh, whose trip to watch them win the CL was his second time watching them in 15 years. Game’s gone.
Imagine it be difficult to do business like that if they weren't sitting on top of all that oil.Maybe it's a Qatari cultural stance. When they want to buy a business, they want the whole pie? Maybe the offer that has been reported has been over inflated.
Obviously, everyone wants the leeches (Glazers) out and the sooner the better. But what would hasten that?
Empty stadiums and no merchandise sales is my guess.
Why is there no concerted effort on those fronts? Would probably only take a few months of it before they shat themselves.

Allegedly the glazers want way over market value for the club. The £5billion offer was seen a premoum price, but alledgly the glazers want £9-10billion for the club. Which everyone involved in football finance thinks is absolutely crackers. It is strange that Qatar couldn't be more flexible with their offer.
So little clarity on what The Glazers want, but it was felt that Avram and Joel were the ones that wanted to stay. So why did Qatar not just buy everyone out but them? And then why isnt Jim doing the same now?

Who was a Chelsea season ticket holder, tried to buy them, and Barca.Mate. You're a bit late on this one. The club was sold to foreigners 20 years ago!
We are potentially about to be owned by a Manchester United fan, from Manchester.

investment and profit trumps loyalty Monday to Friday and twice on the weekend. We seen it all before. Qatar is desperate to own an EPL club looking at UAE and the Saudis
