Given the news blackout I don’t think anybody has a clue what is going on behind the scenes. I don’t believe for one minute that there hasn’t been any contact with the bidders since the last bids went in. Maybe not with the Glazer’s but I doubt Raine would just keep quiet.

As for action, I think that as the United support is so weak when it comes to boycotting games, I think the most powerful way to hit the Glazers is to peacefully picket and virtually close the shop - money is the only thing they understand and most of the season ticket money will already be in the process of being collected.

In the quieter times there were the enjoyable weekend evenings cleaning out aggressive drunks from A&E back onto the streets and trying to put back together people who hadn't quite got used to this newfangled M25 thing.

I think people are drawn to the possibility of a decision being imminent. And also, most believe that the Glazers cannot possibly keep running the club with their current model. They're in a position where they're either going to have to sell now, or risk the value of the club plummeting

It was a throwaway line within a much larger fluff piece about Ratcliffe's wealth, preceded by an ambiguous "it is expected" disclaimer to boot.
If Bloomberg had even slightest conviction behind that statement then that's what their story would have led with.
Glazers already drip feeding the idea of them staying. Laying the ground work ready for the announcement.
All reputable outlets seem to assert that the prospective minority investors are even more in the dark about the present situation than the full takeover bidders.
Surely the Glazers need to choose one or the other, otherwise what has the last 9 months been about?
Absolutely. Even the headline makes no note of it. It's not even a case of burying the lede, but instead just a safe-bet assumption to throw in there.
