The thing I find bizarre is how his Dad’s instagram account always has pictures of all the family including a lot of Jassim’s brother, but literally none of Jassim himself, other than the recent sat round a table brain fart photo. Even at the WC he was nowhere to be seen but both his Dad and Brother were. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Only for QIB currently. He didn't really "work for" Credit Suisse. He was a board member but that's not a day job. People hold entirely different day jobs as CEOs of other companies, and yet are members of the board at another. Companies' boards meet quarterly or more often to discuss matters that senior management (CEO/CFO/Business Unit heads) bring to them, or that they want to bring to these people. But board members can jet in to attend those, and have also long (much before the pandemic) been able to connect via phone.

I dont know why he isn't trying or has tried for clubs like Newcastle, Villa ,Liverpool (before FSG) etc. They all have had huge potential and won't be as costly as United or Chelsea.
