Club Sale | It’s done!

and this is likely to be the single biggest transaction they finalise in their lifetimes, setting up their family for generations to come. they're not going to rush it through to placate the fans' interest in one summer's transfer window.

still annoying af though.
Exactly. All United fans know they don't give a hoot about the club and it's just an asset to them. Everyone acting surprised by this taking a while is taking leave of their senses, we are always slow in the transfer windows anyway and this was never going to be a quick sale. Glazer's have milked this club and they will sure as shit milk the buyer for ever penny.

Would be interesting to compare that to the dates rivals make major signings. Wonder how much later we actually tend to do business.
The guy conveniently leaves out that Malacia was only looked at by us, Eriksen was a free, aging player that also had no news regarding other teams looking to buy and Sancho being labelled as a July 2021 signing is misleading as we were negotiating and faffing about as far back as August 2020, it took us a year to sign him - "worst kept secret in football" ring a bell?

Malacia was literally on the verge of signing for Lyon before we gazumped them. Eriksen reportedly had offers on the table from Brentford and Spurs as well as us.

Lyon actually pulled out, they agreed terms with Feyenoord but not Malacia himself, their General Director was pretty harsh and damning when talking about the whole thing. Apparently Malacia had too many demands and signing him would be against the integrity of the club, even stating that no player is bigger than the club.

Eriksen-wise, I only ever saw him turn down a 3 year deal from Brentford, which I don't see as much interest considering the situation they were in, it's a no brainer that he'd leave if someone else came knocking
Spurs never put an offer in, Eriksen himself even said it was all talk.

It is the long term that matters. Everyone is just frustrated, I find it hard to stay patient I must admit.

Exactly. I am as frustrated as anyone but as long as the Glazers are gone and we have new owners for next season that is all that really matters. This transfer window is fecked, but I am excited about the future with either of the 2 new possible owners (making the huge assumption that some PE firm does not win it out in the end).

It's soul destroying. A huge chance was there this summer to make some sensible signings and move others on who aren't part of the plan. Yes, I am aware we aren't even in July but this issue is overshadowing everything. I am one of the biggest transfer muppets going but I'm struggling to see anything remotely of interest right now because we haven't a clue what the club can even spend.

Even an announcement, or something, indicating what is happening and if a preferred bidder has even been chosen, would raise morale but it is a pathetic situation.

Rant over.

Yeah not getting any kind of announcement is definitely lowering morale

Oh yeah their slowness totally fecked this window

You have to choose one;

1) Glazers keep this going all the way until transfer deadline day. We don't sign any players during this period. On deadline day they announce a finance deal with JP Morgan, who will give the club a £500 million loan with hefty repayments. The Glazers sign Mbappe and promise to redevelop the South Stand.

I'm failing to see the downside with your second option there.

I’d love to take part in this, but unfortunately my postcode isn’t close enough to Old Trafford.

I always see Avram’s rat face as the iconic face of the Glazers. Maybe because he is so freak looking. Plus he looks like his dad. But seems the more normal Joel is the mastermind.
Joel is the one who makes the decisions regarding Man Utd yes. That's been the case since Malcolm passed. Avram is simply the one who's in the public eye.

Decapitation. Thanks.

Can I my head chopped off at the highest seats in Old Trafford and let it roll down the steps to the dugout?

There's no way I'm ever going to chose having a dysmorphic penis and not have / enjoy sex for the rest of my life, so the only option would be to ride out the Glazer storm like we have done for the last 15+ years.

Given the contempt they treat this club with how anybody can be ‘ok’ with the option of them leeching off 18% still is astounding. Them gone completely is a must.

I think I’ll let out an audible cheer once they’re gone.

Malcolm was never involved with the club. He was incapacitated from a stroke around the time the takeover took place. Joel and Avram were co-chairmen from the start.

Logan, Ken and Roman

Stock price is in line with the NASDAQ right now - both are down about 0.8%. i dont think there's anything to really look closely at
