Thinks Di Zerbi is better than Pep.
Jesus mate, he's just trying to lighten the mood.
Lame.

A 10.30pm update would be sweet. Come on Keegan.
If I was living in Liverpool and had access to a season ticket I’d defo go! Free live PL footy is not to be turned down.
Just stand smiling silently when they’re losing would be so sweet.
Why you bringing that energy? Come on mate.We won't get anything until probably midweek
Surely ban worthy!
Should you ever decide to use the billions you earned in London in the 90s on buying United, I can't promise I won't sell this story or the Palace season ticket story to the press.
And any of this is a surprise to you?
It seems like you can get away with regurgitating stuff we already know in this thread so why not
Manchester United is first and foremost a club for Manchester. The clue is in the name.
Not actually a bad idea at this point. There is literally nothing new to discuss that hasn’t been debated to death already time and time again.Might as well lock the thread if there's nothing going to be happening until at least Wednesday.
I'm not going down this 'top red' Road and I said I'm not judging you, but I'd never ever be going to watch another team.
Might as well lock the thread if there's nothing going to be happening until at least Wednesday. The cnuts won't want to rush anything on their first day back and they'll have to refresh their minds from where they left off before the break so that's another few days......
Do we?He has said in numerous occasions that he dislikes both. As pretty much most sane people do. The reality is that we all want the club to be fan owned, which for some reason is not part of the debate.
Let’s bet the sale will be announced before thread hits 2000 pages!
Ha! No way. You only have to look at this thread to see what an absolutely thunderous shitstorm that would be.The reality is that we all want the club to be fan owned

Sheesh, if that's considered as a wind-up, the caf has gotten extremely different I guess from what it used to be.I didnt single him out. The post below was reported for wumming. I thought the fairvthing to do was just ask him to stop.
Can you say it's not deliberately intended to rile and adds nothing to the discussion?
Besides my comment was said in general and not aimed at anyone in particular. If someone feels targeted then I don't know what to say but laught it all upThis whole thread the last few hundred pages is posters winding each other up, I don't think singling out @kouroux is quite right, especially considering there are posters in here who have been on a constant, way worse, wind up and seem to get away with it.
Madrid seem to manage Ok.
Timely reminder of what the Qataris are really about. Wash that, Jassim....

Absolutely nothing. And Madrid is irrelevant to a discussion about fan owned clubs too especially when they are regularly bailed out by the King of Spain. What does that have to do with Jassim?
Anybody care to give me a quick summary of today's (non) developments? Absolutely anything today to suggest progress?
Nothing at all. You’ve missed nothing.Anybody care to give me a quick summary of today's (non) developments? Absolutely anything today to suggest progress?

It’s a huge amount of money. What a lot of people are ignoring and what the banks won’t be ignoring is the difference between revenue and profit, how sensitive INEOS are to gas prices.
Banks won’t lend billions without a sound business plan. Based on the fact INEOS have, we can assume, been told that they will get that financing that they are bidding. It’s very likely that they have given a business plan for Man Utd.
Also, I’m not sure about the structure of the financing but have heard on news it’s a mix of loans and bonds.
What does that have to do with Jassim?
Oh nothing because he's definitely not a front man for the Qatari state. He probably won 6 bilion quid in the national lottery...
Yep I get you mate, that's why I thought the reactions to it were pretty ridiculous.Besides my comment was said in general and not aimed at anyone in particular. If someone feels targeted then I don't know what to say but laught it all up

Trust me to miss this chaos. We're all having chippy tea next Friday and @Rhyme Animal ruled himself out of the race for United.
Thanking you. I hope we get some big conclusive news this week rather than a few dodgy tweets from dubious sources. There's been no news since the Reuters and AFP short articles were published about 3 days ago. I wouldn't expect any further updates until midweek at the earliest.
Don't forget, his old man is very wealthy (far wealthier than his Forbes listing). Definitely not a state bid therefore.

You mean his old man - also from the al-Thani ruling family - is also a billionaire? What a staggering co-incidence. What are the odds???
While I definitely believe it is a state bid, forbes work off publicly available information, like shares held in public companies, or known assets of significant value, for a secretive oil rich state, they can't look st people's bank accounts, if assets aren't declared publicly they don't know about them, they have the emir of Qatar as worth less than 2 billion, putin not even worth a billion. People can certainly hold a lot of wealth in these countries without forbes knowing about it becusse wealth there isn't like the west where its about shares held in public companies, they're hugely cash rich to a degree that doesn't really exist in the West so a lot more of their wealth will he liquid
