Shame we’re aren’t more like Brighton
Sadly, I don’t think so. Especially in the minds of Juve, Barca and Madrid hierarchy it is very much alive and on the immediate agenda. That threat is effectively dead.

VHS over Betamax.hate the fact streaming is becoming the prevalent mode of delivery nowadays. It's awkward, often subpar and also always delayed.
Or the parties left in the process want to stay privateYeah keep thinking calm before the storm

Where are you going?Wishing you all the best. Hope everything goes well.

I’ve always thought same too. But with glazers in charge I don’t think I would.I agree. Honestly I'd like to pay a subscription for MUTV and we watch all our games there with Man united negotiating the away games on our behalf. I can't care less about watching crystal Palace vs West ham

A realistic one. Yours is fantasy land
It is all just speculation, right. Yet your scenario sounds worse that anything elseso you admit you inserted your dramatic response into my hypothetical ideal. Got it. Keep it moving buddy
Exactly. You either ban all of them which I’m totally for - or none. I’m starting to think many in football rather enjoy United being hamstrung by owners to the tune of 1.5bn going out of the club - helps to keep that “competitive balance”.Problem is we've already allowed City, Newcastle and Chelsea with Putin's cash.

Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment) and PIF (Saudi public invest fund) are literally governmental organisations.Yep, can’t block it on the grounds of we all know you’re part of a nation takeover without proof.
Indeed. The EPL isn’t going to block foreign investment - the key argument against the independent regulator has been how it could stop that investment which drives the popularity of the EPL. It could help Sir Jim though - if the Glazers want an easy straightforward sale the Qatari bid may not be the one to choose.Yeah that's the problem they created when they allowed Russian cash at Stamford Bridge. Let's be honest it's a bloody mess and I don't think the PL cares. Cash rules eh.
Banning them isn't enough. Those clubs under oil/mafia money should have their titles revoked and any progress they have made should be 'erased' too by banning them from top competitions, stop the tv money, hefty fines. Now that's bringing balance back. If it's considered cheating then every cheaters - past and present need to be punished. To suggest otherwise is laughable and defeat the purpose of bringing fairness back. It's like someone telling people "don't cheat on your spouse" after they've done that for a decade.Exactly. Flip side is any new owner will want in ahead of the transfer window so if they make the next round as late as possible they could go higher. They’ll be trying to use other bidders and time to drive the price up. The whole thing is a poker game. All quiet on the western front? Definitely looking like the Glazers want to stay and are now ensuring that it stays quiet for a while to let the 'excitement' die down before sowing the initial seeds of their sticking around. If they play it slowly and just let it happen little by little it will soften the blow and they can get away with it. Maybe spend a few million this summer and it'll all be forgotten by the regular fan in the street.
We all know the answer to that but if no-one can legally prove it it's irrelevant.Great but then that begs the question, what is funding his Nine Two foundation.
