Club Friendlies - Aston Villa vs Man United on 12/09/2020

Quite funny that we are actually playing really well but haven’t taken our chances

I really hope we score more goals this season. Non-penalty goals.

Ighalo is fierce fond of intricate flicks and tricks and fierce shy of getting into the sort of positions a striker needs to get into.

Part of me think United wouldn't hype this game so much on social media if we just ended up losing. But then I remember they just want us to spend money on MUTV.

That's a second pen by the way

On mutv with the shite SD picture it looks like scholes playing CM for us

Its been all United till now except for the goal. Don't remember Villa stringing together 4-5 passes till now.

Yeah they've been battered so far. We've looked really positive. The meltdowns seem premature!

It costs next to nothing though. Paying 144 SA Rands for a full year subscription.

Torn apart by Villa there, look weak down the right channel with TFM and Dalot

I have seen that story before! Haaland would have transformed our team. Should have thrown everything at him when we had the chance

We played some great stuff against Sevilla

Can't believe we're going into another season with some players that are simply not enough to be squad players here, never mind starters.

United's defending on that Villa goal was every bit as poor as the goals conceded against Sevilla.
We really got taken for a ride for Maguire. Only thing that puts him ahead of our other defenders is he can stay fit. Was he this under par for Leicester?

Scholes was spot on that a Kane type of player would transform us more than a Sancho type of player.

Dan James is no more a Manchester United player than I am.

I guess it was tricky as ole had already promised martial a go at number 9, if we got haaland 1 of them would have left eventually. Not sure Haaland every really wanted to come here though.

no he was excellent, has been his whole career. united one of the best defences in europe btw... the x factor must have been david de gea though

Loads of promising attacks coming through shaw but nobody at the far post ever. Lingard on the right doesn’t work
