Good news on Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes had not trained enough to feature for Manchester United in this game against Aston Villa.
But the good news is that the midfielder has returned from Portugal (before quarantine rules came into force) and posted about his return to the Aon Training Complex in Carrington.
Great news for us.

Why are people so worked up about a friendly?y

Think it's the mystery of not knowing the result. Looking at the line up it just looks like those players who couldn't play for their international teams last week, mostly, so it's an unfit b team, basically. Not something I can get overly worried about.

Can't believe we lost. And to think our season starts next week. Terrible build up. Serious questions need to be asked.

Can't believe people are getting excited by this win. It was a fecking pre season friendly. A nothing result in a nothing game. Means absolutely nothing for next week.

They also said that Periera and Mata started.

Has that been confirmed wrong? They could be going off Twitter too, these local papers are often just people at home doing it all on the internet these days. Weird situation.

The fact Ian Taylor put that out there, Villa might have warned him not to do any more if there was an agreement between the clubs.
That's exactly what happened.... apparently

It was definitely 1-0, just seen the final minutes on the villa website

So much cloak and dagger stuff over a pre-season friendly, maybe Sancho did play after all

I got laughed at for saying we should have played the ressies and kids in Europa. I said this would be the effect. No pre season and no proper prep time. Palace will be so much fitter and better prepared next week than us. Could easily drop points.
You're so wiser than the rest of us.

I really don't like this new kit. We look like freakin zebras.
VDB playing the deeper role next to Scott, even though no Bruno. Interesting to see how he'll go against what looks like Villa's strongest lineup.

Ole has to learn to look for realistic targets rather than fixating on big names. So far we've been only linked to Sancho (and Thiago?) throughout the window ffs as if there's no alternative in the world.
What unrealistic targets have we seriously attempted to sign since Solskjaer has been here?

Shaw looks fat as feck. He'll never commit to being a professional athlete.

ReguilON.

Van De Beek just had a few touches.
