City agree £30m fee with Swansea for Bony

It's good that Gylfi doesn't fit their team. Him and Bony have a great understanding. Gylfi's been laying him up all season.

Bony's family would start supporting City, I suppose.

I don't really see how having another big name African player (and striker) isn't going to help generate interest and fans for City, but that's just me.

Having spent time in West Africa and seeing Chelsea, Arsenal and United Shirts, but no City ones, they could definitely do with a few more African players.

Always rated Gylfi. Don't know why he wasn't given more of a chance at Spurs. If we didn't have so many in his position I wouldn't mind him here.

They always shifted him out wide. I get it that you'd want Eriksen to play in the hole but Gylfi could have been used in central midfield, at least be given a chance. That's where he plays for Iceland now under Lagerbäck and he's never been better. I kind of feel he's better there because his work ethic is a bit wasted behind the striker.

Surprised they didn't do that as well @Snow . They didn't have Modric to dictate anymore and Gylfi has a great passing range and can control a game.
