Christopher Nkunku

A lot keep saying he'd replace Hojlund/Zirkzee which I'm sure he would be capable of doing but wouldn't he be a good fit in one of the '10' roles?
Yes to the latter. No to the first part. He's not a 9, he's an attacking midfielder/second striker. Which we need for Amorim's system especially if Rashford and Garnacho are not deemed to fit the role.

A loan of Nkunku with no obligation to buy is worth considering.
Selling Garnacho to Chelsea should not be contemplated at all. Sell him outside the EPL by all means to allow us to sort PSR for the summer but only for a fair amount. £60M+ imho

Saw a tweet that in last 2 years he missed more games through injuries than Mount. Would be a joke of a signing.

Was there a context to this? Not that it's a positive but Nkunku missed games through two knee injuries while Mount missed games through a multitude of muscle injuries. One(Mount) has chronic injuries while the other doesn't though the injuries he has had were very serious.

Noone outside the EPL will buy Garnacho for £60m+. Clubs in Europe are rarely spending (or able to spend) that on any player.

Not for me thanks he’s been a complete flop at Chelsea, an injured one at that

Is this what our new footballing team has come up with in attack Zirkzee and possible Nkunku? Feck me

Not thrilling... In a similar mould, I think Sesko would actually fit in seamlessly into any of the 3 attacking positions in Amorim's system, with a better age profile.

He would undoubtedly flop here. Just like how everyone with eyes saw Mount flopping.
Have to laugh at the constant pats on the back people give themselves for retroactively predicting that a player who had missed 1/3 of a season in 6 years of first team football would be injured all the time for us.

When his massive flop season was his last season at Chelsea though - and not just due to injury, it didn't exactly take Mystic Meg to predict it.

See him ending up at Arsenal

Jog jog jog. Same intensity as Marcus. We can't seriously be looking at this lad permanently. O how we have fallen. Meanwhile the glazers have got nice and round from the pounds, while utd check bargin buckets for deals.

It’s probably that people are reassured about their own football knowledge, as most people were baffled at his signing in the first place. When it went through, most people went ok, maybe ten hag is seeing something we’re not. Only for him to then get injured, just like everyone thought he would.

Same age as Marcus as well, had a couple of good seasons, had setbacks with injuries and look like they've peaked mid 20s.

I suppose if you're Nkunku, going back to Germany where the goals came would be a better option.

How'd you feel about a loan if it didn't mean selling them Garnacho?

Interesting but again he’s been a bad signing at Chelsea and keeps picking up injuries I just don’t see how he comes into this side and makes a difference

But honestly if it meant keeping Garnacho I’d have to take it

If he didn’t have such an awful injury record I’d be all over this, but we need to stop buying injury prone players. For whatever reason injury prone players only ever seem to get worse with us and I’m absolutely sick of having the likes of Shaw and Mount constantly unavailable.

I would be ok taking him on loan and having an option if it is a success. Its a huge risk on a straight transfer.

Id rather loan him and wait for something better in the summer.

It seems to be this intensity everytime I see him..

Compare that to Marmoush today and it's worlds apart. Very small sample size I know..

If we were to take one of the Chelsea flops I’d rather Joao Felix than Nkunku.
