Only big club he might leave to is PSG and if it happens it's never going to be this summer

Isnt his boy at that sort of age where they need stability and good education?

Really dont see why Cristiano would want to bring him back to this shithole with constant rain and cold weather. Not to mention failing schools and knife crime etc. Ronaldo wouldn’t leave his kids in Spain with Dolores and move back to Manchester IMO. The whole Ronaldo machine is much better off in Madrid, PSG if he’s forced out!

Yes because you don’t get crime in Spain and his son is likely to be knocking around council estates and going to the local comprehensive.

I obviously didn’t mean it in that context did I? Obviously there’s knife crime in Spain, but why would he want his son in an english school, Its no secret the quality of life is better in Spain than here!

I don't think Ronaldo nor his son would struggle in terms of quality of life wherever they live.

No matter how many millions Ronaldo has, it still constantly piss down in Manchester, money cant bring that Spanish sunlight over! Nor the culture!

It's not like his son would be in a standard public school is it?

Plus Ronaldo has lived here already and knows exactly what it was like.

Yeah and he’s used us to get bigger contract for the last 4 seasons. He isn’t coming back! I mean would you wanna pay 50% tax and play against burnley in the pissing rain? Lol

Oh I don't for a second think he's coming back but I don't think the rain, nor the standard of school nor stabbings would put him off coming back to England when he lived here for six years and is still fond of the place.

Cash in would be a stretch. How much do you think a 33 yr old Ronaldo would cost? 20 million?

33 year old Ronaldo would cost upwards of 50 million euros due to his marketing potential alone. I believe Madrid get a 25% cut of his endorsements. I wouldn't be surprised if the value came close to 150 million euros. Look at it this way, despite his tragic accident and being bed-ridden for 2 years now, Michael Schumacher earns about 30-40 million dollars annually through endorsements!!! How much could Ronaldo earn over the next 2-3 years?

My personal choice would be to sell him to City. I am really curios to see what Guardiola could do with Cristiano. Mourinho made him into a machine ... could Guardiola make him into an artist, this late in his career?
That could be an interesting topic to discuss!!!

I'd be shocked if he didn't manage to pay less than 10%.

If any club sign Ronaldo for $150mil I will be shocked (not saying it isn't possible). My guess is his enormous wages and agent fees will stop anyone from signing him. He is Real's player until the end.

Hahahaha this thread is fun! I've read here somo of the most ridiculous posts, people saying who would pay more than 50 millions for a 33 year old Ronaldo, really??? Hahaha the guy is the Ballon D'Or, the Fifa Best Player, and overall the best player in the world.

Then PSG payed 222 for Neymar, 180 for Mbappe, Barca 150 for Coutinho, 130 for Dembele, United something around 125 for Pogba. And Ronaldo that is much better than all of them still at this age costs less than half of any of them?

Ronaldo's buy out clause is literally 1000 Million Euros in Madrid. And even at this age, if anyone came and offered them 250, Madrid would only laugh and wouldn't sell him.

He will retire in Madrid, or at least they will keep him till he is not anymore the best or one of the best players in the world. Looking at how he has evolved his gane for being more effective while making less effort, I think he will still be there a lot of years.

He could play injured at 35 years old and would still be better than any of Alexis, Lukaku, Martial and Rashford. Please some respect to the man and get serious, it would be a dream for United if he returned...

The turd that will not flush. Ever.
Even after he is retired, there will be talk of him coming out of retirement, specifically to play for us.

I can already see the headline at the Daily Star

"Ronaldo: I'm coming home"
Exclusive interview with the 41 year old from his beachside mansion in Miami

Not sure Guardiola is the right manager for Ronaldo. Messi's skills suit Guardiola's possession game, but I think Ronaldo will find his system as uncomfortable as Aguero initially did before adapting --- and Ronaldo unlike Aguero won't adapt.

Really 125 million for pogba!
Yeah a 33 year old might be a dream for your club but some clubs look to the future

You're probably the type that would slap your own family members for criticizing Ronaldo! No worries, the tax dodger will end his career in Madrid. Not all of us United supporters want him back.

Wouldn’t even have him back for a £5m let alone £50m. Don’t want him back here thanks, the circus is better off in Madrid.

People underestimate how well Madrid create for him.

We are not that well oiled to get the best out of Ronaldo.

Posts like this show how he is still underrated. How do you explain his goals for Portugal? Why does no other Real player scores close to the amount he does?

Ideas like this make it sound like he's very replaceable which is quite simply untrue.

I do, however, agree that we'd probably make him look garbage, as we seem to do with most good players - he'd still score a ton of goals though like Zlatan did.

Not necessarily. It could also allude to the great chemistry that he has with his teammates in Madrid. They create all the chances, but it's also because they know how to anticipate his way to get into shooting spaces. He'd be useful for us here, but I also agree that he won't look as good here as he does in Madrid.

Apparently remaining "circus-free" is more important than winning trophies.

It was 120 million for Pogba to be precise. And lf course, I bet you and any club would prefer to sign Martial or Rashford looking to the future that Ronaldo (thinking that could be possible). Of course my friend hahaha. ;)

No, I wouldn't slap anyone, but trying to minimize Ronaldo in his current form just because his age is laughable, specially when he is still miles better than any of the attackers of your team and still the best player in the world with only Messi at his level.

That you don't want him back is normal, a lot of United fans are still heartbroken (after 9 years) because he went to Madrid in a moment that United were better. Definitely not because he is not good enough.

Wouldn’t even have him back for a £5m let alone £50m. Don’t want him back here thanks, the circus is better off in Madrid.

Another example of the heartbroken fans that are still mad because he went to Madrid when he was entering his peak, and that become angrier because he is still in his peak, 9 years later!!

Man, you don't have to hate the guy, he gave you your last UCL trophy, some Premier Leages and loves your club. He just wanted to play in Real Madrid since he was a child, and he has been winning everything for them for a lot of time (specially the UCL and Ballon D'Or) with the team and as an individual.

You wouldn't have him back for 5m?? Its clear why...

I obviously didn’t mean it in that context did I? Obviously there’s knife crime in Spain, but why would he want his son in an english school, Its no secret the quality of life is better in Spain than here!

A bit offtopic, but i have been to spain twice and UK three times, i'd easily chose UK if i had to move to one of them.
I will never understand why people think living in 30 degrees celsius ++ is such a great thing.
Too hot, too dry, and i doubt the quality of living in Spain is higher than in England.
