This would be a disastrous signing and make us look like a joke. We need to get serious with rebuilding our squad for the future. What's next? Bringing Louis Saha back? Ronaldo had umpteen chances to join us again if he loved us so much - hell why did he leave in the first place if the bond was so strong? It was bad enough signing a clearly past it Schweinsteiger - but that would like great business compared to what Ronaldo would expect in wages.
 
He’d be a great #9, but with Lukaku now here, would never happen. Not a great loss at this stage.
 
The amount of money it would take makes this no longer worth it.
 
It's just Mendez using his lame and boring tactics to get him a new contract at Madrid. We have seen this thousands of time. Ronaldo isn't happy with something at Madrid ? Quick, Mendez!, tell journalists I want to go to United!

His persistence on using United name to solve his problems is starting to go OTT.

I really like Ronaldo because what he achieved with us, but he should just feck off already with this BS.

The only possible logic in this transfer would be economical and only if the parameters of the hypothetical contract are low enough.

Like clockwork.. Messi contract details come out and in the same week he wants to leave again.. I hope Mourinho twats Mendes.. Both of them share the same agent and you would think Mendes could cook up a better story than him trying to leave..

Zlatan on a free was different to this.. We don't need to fund Madrid's rebuild for them.. Same goes to the Bale transfer too..

On the rare condition that this is true.. Yes, he is better than a lot of players on our team but after Alexis we need to spend money on other places first..

If you read the article it actually says he wants a new contract and even has a quote from him saying “I'd like to retire at Real Madrid but that doesn't depend on me as I'm not the person in charge at the club”.

It's the same as usual.

Ronaldo made his bed and now he has to lie in it. We're not going to have him back now after he decided to give his best years to Madrid. He can stay there until they decide to get rid of him.

They’re definitely not giving him a new contract. On this seasons form I think Madrid would be happy for him to leave tbh. That makes this latest iteration slightly different to previous years when they wouldn’t have wanted him to leave at any cost. Head says I don’t want him back.
