That’s exactly my thought too. Hope we get it right.

Free transfer as well bet inter are kicking themselves letting him go now. Cracking piece of business, let’s get FDJ over the line now as well.

The thought just struck me and perhaps someone else has already said this but....WE WILL HAVE SOMEONE WHO CAN TAKE A CORNER KICK!!!!!

This Ajax fan seems more excited about ten Hag’s project at United than the United fans
We are very much becoming little Ajax.

To be fair, with the way they develop talent, becoming their sugar daddy sure isn't a bad idea. I'd rather give them the cash than pretentious Dortmund.

While being far from exciting, it's a sensible deal. Replaces Mata and Lingard, gives us options at 8 and 10, experienced international level player who will buy into and reinforce the new culture change. All for free (plus wages).

Still, it's not sitting well with me that our first two signings are at left back and attacking midfield which are well down the list of priorities for upgrade. Nothing is quite making sense to me at the moment.

I mean, yeah, good signing and all. I like the player. He will do a job for a couple of seasons

I'm just finding it really hard to get excited, as I watch the teams in and around us in the league strengthening, and we're signing 30 year old's on a free. In fact, it makes me angry - when it really shouldn't. I also feel the same about Malacia, for what it's worth.
Thank you for this.

Don't be silly, 5 mins inside old trafford and he will ballooning them out for a throw in like the rest.

Ornstein is surely the no.1 transfer journo at this point

It’s him and Fabrizio. As much as people here like to call Fabrizio a tap in merchant, even Ornstein references/credits him for exclusives. I assume they all share info/sources etc. They’re like Jordan and Pippen.

Thought they had to, because serie a rules won't allow him to play with a defib in his heart?

Thank feck for this. I think it was easy to overlook how thin our squad really is when you look at the players that left and how much of a waste of space they were. We were so glad to see the back of them that you forget they needed replacing to begin with.

My mind was temporarily blown too but...

The wiki is wrong. 1.82m = 5' 9-10"

1.82m is 6'0". The 5'9-10" is you reading 5.97 foot as 5 foot 9-10 inches, but it's not. A foot is 12 inches so 1.82m is 5.97 foot is 5 foot and 11.64 inches

Italian board won't let you play with an ICD implant, they had no choice and neither did he on the matter.

Doesn't look that bad. Although I'm not sold on Bruno as a false 9. Would also give AWB another chance ahead of Dalot.

Agreed on AWB. Awful as he's been, I'd be interested to see where he could go with proper coaching. Same for Dalot & Laird, to be fair.

Thrilled. Been a big fan of him. Seems like a great personality to have around dressing room too.

Can instantly become our top 3 players when he’s on form.

Really looking forward to seeing him in our shirt.

Not difficult with all the fun-sponges on here. Why can’t people be more positive and join in with the ‘guess what number he’ll be’ game?

Genuine question, will we get the Spurs Erikson or the Inter version?

TBF the way our midfield was last season I would settle for the Brentford Erikson.
