The best thing about having him join the group is he raises the level of technique in the squad considerably, especially in central areas. What's been extremely obvious is we've lacked players who are comfortable with the ball under pressure and have high footballing IQ. Eriksen, Martinez and hopefully de Jong will transform our team in that regard.
The best thing about him at Spurs was he was the main playmaker but in a very economical way, you might not notice he was playing if you didn't pay close attention but he was involved in some way in most goals. In that sense he seems a perfect addition to us with EtH.

Eriksen was top 5 assists in the league in 3 of his 4,5 seasons at spurs.
Only first and last half he wasnt.

Stats dont always do players justice. Eriksson like David Silva at city, is one if those players who frequently ends up creating the pass before the assist, which is never recorded.

Very happy. There's a lot of positives in signing Eriksen. The biggest one for me - finally someone who can take a decent set piece. I've forgotten what that's like.
Erksen was phenomenal for Brentford. He is obviously a squad player, but I think he could be one of the seasons big successes at Old Trafford

To be fair, Brentford only offered him a 6 month deal and it expired. Hardly like we swooped in like the evil empire or something. We put a contract on the table and left him to decide. ETH hardly put a gun to his head.
