Thank god that arc is overCould have had him for 15m in 2013. Who was our manager back then? Oh right Moses
I was so fecking envious when he went to Spurs. The guy was an OG football manager wonderkind. Loved the way he plays, as well.Could have had him for 15m in 2013. Who was our manager back then? Oh right Moses
That's Noah, you dumb feck. Moses parted the Pacific Ocean, summoning Godzilla.Thank god that arc is over

Imagine the team with Martinez, Eriksen and Frenkie playing. We would be able to sustain possession under any pressure.
Damn I've been crucified, just like Matthew
Can you please at least do another job for us, add ‘’undergoing medical and arsenal in the mud’’ in the title of the Martinez thread. This should repay the damage what you did in 2013 for not signing Eriksen.Ah I had a lot on at the time. Couldn't juggle both jobs.

5 seasons at spurs 237 matches, 52 goals and 71 assists (give or take a few), that’s not 20 goals and assists per season (unless you mean goals and assists combined)
I thought he summoned Loch Ness Monster as he was mounted on Rock of Gibralter?
That is a goal contribution ratio of 0.52, or a goal or assist every 2 games. It also equates to 24 goal contributions per season.
And then the Rock of Gibraltar was summoned by Sir Alex, leading to the clash of the titans with JP McManus and John Magnier
I see Darren Bent and some semi famous Brentford fans are shitting on him on Twitter.
Bent was on about how we prized him away and that he owes Brentford. For what?
He owes them feck all although I'm sure he appreciates his time there. They should be grateful he helped them stay up.
It's a bit surreal for me honestly. He's the same age as me, and we both have a son around the same age (even with the same name). And my brother is a good friend of his sister. What I'm trying to say is, that I really feel I can relate to him.
When he fell to the ground last year I was shook, and it really set some things in perspective in my own life.
I've followed him all his career, from when Ajax picked him up from my local club. Wanted him badly when Spurs got him, and again when he left them. He's been a fantastic player for our national team. One of the best we've seen, and without doubt the best of a few generations.
He's bought a huge house not long from my mine, in which he plan to live when he retires. Maybe even after a short spell at his old club (his house is like 500m from the training ground).
Can't believe he'll end up playing for both my favorite clubs.

46 years here and I will say this these times we live in now are just bonkers. Entitled keyboard warriors everywhere. How do these two fecking idiots don't know that maybe, Christian thanked the people at Brentford in person.
Not everything should be a damn social media post. Normal people still talk, like face to face or on the phone.
This is easily the most idiotic time I've lived in 30 some years.
