Such a lazy and easy thing to say. It’s the go to comment when discussing young players on Redcafe. It shows a real lack of knowledge on the group in question though.

It’s a long time since there was a crop of this quality all coming through at roughly the same time and there would need to be serious questions asked if only one of them makes it.

Not really lazy or easy. PL football is a different breed. Looking extremely talented at youth level is rarely an indicator of whether they will make it in the first team, the step up is massive, especially with the pressure that comes for playing at Man United on top.

Already I have seen an improvement in his ability to bring others into the game. I reckon the coaches are hammering this into him. There is no doubt he is an arrogant git but anyone who plays elite sport has that arrogance. I think ( and hope) that he will improve all aspects and we will have a superstar on our books ( along with a healthy bunch of the rest of them). I really like Igrabimov and Kukonki

Sounds like a Russian hooker describing her nights work.

Trying to guess the future is pointless.

This is a very talented group of players, and we are so far from the top that it is not that difficult to promote players in the current squad. We also have got a coach that likes to promote young players as well.

RVN, one of our all time best strikers, was definitely most interested in scoring goals. It all depends on how you set up your team. Preferable to have a Messi for sure, but there aren't that many of them around. If there is one thing our team is crying out for, it is a player that regularly scores goals.
Exactly. Of course there are situations where a player should have passed but United have missed that gaol machine for a while now as you say. Not saying he is first team ready yet but it’s like his determined to score and we should be cultivating that energy.

Scored for Denmark U18s but they lost the game 2-1.

He is not incorrect though - it's completely unrealistic to think that 5-6 players from the same generation should make it. That has happened once before in the last 60 years or so - and that was a completely different era where our biggest opponent used players like John Beresford, David Batty, Darren Peacock, Steve Watson and Robbie Elliott and when we were the best team in the country with an experienced manager.

Sure we might get 4-5 of these players into the squad - but if you are looking for first-team regulars you are probably talking at best an average of 1 pr year.

Completely depends how its done. Clubs like Ajax do it all the time. Its about the process, the talent is there but if we squander it, its possible none of them make it at United. Doesnt mean they wont have an impressive career though like Angel Gomes doing well for England when he's had the chance

You can't really compare Ajax and Man United. Ajax will be up against PSV and Feyenoord. I doubt a single player from those 2 teams would get into the first-team of the best clubs in the Premier League. They can afford to give these players a chance - if I tried the same against City or Liverpool - we would be destroyed.
