Chicharito Loan Watch | Real Madrid

Did he? I didnt see it then.

IT's just an observation Ive made over the years, but I could easily be wrong.

In general yeah he's quiet slow to go over and congratulate but think on this one he celebrated. Himself first but also Hernandez. James Rodrigues went off on his own celebrating.

Hernandez is great at little runs/finding space but the rest of his play really lacks. But I'm thinking, if Van Gaal likes his front man to score/keep the defenders busy by running around them then Hernandez is surely great for that?

Very happy for him. Hope he gets a move that suits all parties in the summer.

That shot Falcao hit against the post at Chelsea last Saturday? Just look at Hernandez's record against Chelsea and tell me he's missing that. Rather have Hernandez than Falcao right now. Real Madrid fans probably feel the same way!

He missed two easier chances tonight itself. He was a great finisher when he joined us but that part of his game declined drastically as he got less game time.

Thought he played very well and looked like he was desperate to prove a point after the season he has had. His movement caused them problems all game, especially Miranda. Good for the transfer fee.

Henry thinks that's Ronaldo's goal and is visibly annoyed at Hernandez celebrating like he was the goal scorer or something.

Hernandez got the tap in because he was in the right place at the right time and even then as seen from the gif above his unpredictable movement caused two defenders to keep moving when he stopped creating space so he could shoot.

Souness defending Hernandez at least!

Did really well to lose his marker and create space for himself..
He was good. Escaped his marker three times (was offside once) and should have gotten a penalty. Good game, especially considering how little he has played.

I don't really like Hernandez. Hard to like a player who left United after we had one bad year and I think their were stories that he wanted to leave for game time. So to go to madrid where he was guaranteed to play very little was a bit strange.

I reckon we'd be doing really well to get £10m.

Depends on his own demands as well, if he agrees to go to any club then I am sure we will get 12-15 million offers but if he demands a certain club then we will probably get 9-10 million

Sad that it went this way for Chicha at United because people kind of forget his first three seasons for us, I was recently watching some old videos and the amount of important goals the man scored was unreal

Ronaldo has celebrated countless tap ins in his career. Hernandez deserves this moment.

Hernandez > Falcao & Welbeck

Chicharito has always been a reliable big game player. I thought he did well for us pre-season too. Not sure why Van Gaal sidelined him so quickly, only for us to bring in Falcao, who looks no better in the build up or at hold up and who has less mobility.

Very impressive. He's always been a super sub for us. I believe he also has the best goals to minutes ratio in Premier League history.

Rooney loving it. Always thought those two played well together. Clearly a good relationship even now.

Carrick too

People wanting him back on the basis of tonight are mental.
I want him back because he was a big game player for us, scored important goals and is better than Van Persie, Falcao or Welbeck currently.

It was a gamble. Sick of people failing to understand something so inherently simple. We gambled on one of the best out-and-out strikers of the last 10 years re-finding his form after an injury (similar to Van Nistelrooy) -- it hasn't worked.

Welbeck plays for Arsenal, Falcao is gone in the summer, Van Persie -- on his day -- can be world class.

It was Ed Woodward wanting to sign a 'superstar' having chased Cavani (inexplicably) all summer. Had nothing to do with Chico or Welbz. They were just the fall guys on our wage bill. Simple as.

I think that's nonsense (the fall guy part). The superstar bit might be accurate, but what's wrong with that? Superstars generally tend to be superstars for a reason. Falcao was a better player than Hernandez and Welbeck multiplied by each other. As it turns out, he's crocked. But that doesn't mean Welbeck and Hernandez are suddenly good enough again. We can do better than both imo.

Chicharito himself was desperate to leave, this loan kind of put him in his place though because he has not been used at all

As if anyone would claim it's Chicharito's goal if he set it up and Ronaldo scored the tap in.

Amazing really how people bow to those superstar's.

More love from within the family. Gone but not forgotten...
