How's it any more Benfica than United? And how could anyone be disapointed with a V-Neck when it's clearly based on one of our classic shirts? It's just this jersey with an update:
There aren't any because it hasn't happened yet. They aren't able to remove it until August 1st without getting sued by Nike.
Although I like the other shirts, they also have the flappy skirty bits around the bottom. All Adidas's kits have them this season. Just be thankful they haven't also got a contrast stripe above the flaps like some do.
Love the shirt. Not keen on the weird bit at the bottom but other than that it is quality.

It's not orange, it's red. The flash just makes it look orange.
That's interesting - i'd assumed that they'd start work "internal" to the stadium - ready for reopening on 1 August. Sure i'd read something similar with the shutters coming down on the Megastore.
I just thought to the random passer by, you'd see Nike from outside Old Trafford, but work on the stands internally etc would be happening by now.

There are stadium tours etc. it all counts to Nike.
Exactly. It's easy to forget that during this time of year, more people see the inside of the stadium than at any other time.

The Real shirt has the exact same thing.
Anyone who's decided that the Real and Bayern shirts look better, it's entirely because they're on mannequins and ours is just on hangers. Sort your lives out.
Love the v neck with black and red trimmings but what is up with the white sleeve part? Looks far too big.

Got to look at the new training kit today, very nice. Out of all the leaked versions,it's the darker blue one.

I'm going to get it. I can't remember when was the last United shirt that I actually bought. The designs by Nike put me off big time.
It's not been in doubt since April/May, some just like to moan and hope it's not true.

Been told today, those leaked photos of the wacky third kit shorts are correct.
Hardly surprising seeing some of the other Adidas offerings this season.
Saw many versions of the new kits today. Funnily enough I saw the black shirt with red trim and with orange trim.
Also saw a lad with a Liverpool shirt on get completely destroyed walking through a load of Reds.

Will the kits be in the shops on the 1st or will you be able to just order them from the first? I'm trying to work out if I got to take the kids into town next weekend or can I sit on my arse?
I think you can pre order and have them delivered on launch day.
I must be on of the only ones that loved the Nike stuff, I can remember rejoicing all those years ago when we finally got rid of Umbro and some of the shit they sold to get Nike producing our stuff. Although in the end some of the kits were disappointing most of them were ok. What I never get is how on here every year Nike kits are slated while this kit by Adidas seems to be universally loved?
Personally not a fan at all and if this is the best Adidas could come up with extremely disappointed. The v neck collar looks stupid these days, sleeves look stupid as does the bottom of the kit. I really hope the talk of the orange and black kit is not true.

I like it myself but if you read through the thread there are a few that share the same view as you.

I really like Adidas kits but my only concern is that for some clubs (i.e. Chelsea and Real) they tend to look the same year after year. Hopefully ours will have more originality to them.
Excellent - very pleased Adidas are helping us trying to trick DDG into staying.
People say it's actually red, but the camera flash brightens it and makes it look orange. I suppose we will only really know on reveal day.
Why can't we pre-order this? Usually they have it up on websites such as sports direct, kitbag or the megastore where it's just a black silhouette, but not even the official website has it on.
Probably a contractual issue with Nike.

I am under the impression that they will release it on Saturday because they have already lost so much time over the release because of the contract issue. However, could this just be an advertisement campaign and actually release it on the 7th/8th??

I'm starting to think it won't be for sale on the 1st. There's been absolutely nothing from Adidas themselves, and assuming United can't say anything due to their contract with Nike, you'd think Adidas would give a few details.
There's no where to pre-order the top too, but surely it'll be released by the 8th when we play Spurs. I'm thinking they'll have a few days to market the new gear and get a load of pre-orders in after the 1st August.
Could be entirely wrong, though, as one would think the hype around it already is enough and no official pre-release adverts etc. would really be needed to sell tonnes of shirts on day 1.
