About time we give someone a thrashing again, 3-0 to United
Not sure Jose will play as conservative as he did at OT. Remember in the Liverpool and City home games we played quite attacking, especially in the first half. Expect more of the same given our teams relative strengths and weaknesses. I expect he'll have someone to do a job on Jazuzaj or Rooney like we did on Suarez and Aguero. Hope we can get the win, but United will have some confidence now.
How likely is that anyway?de Gea, Rafael, Vidic, Jones, Carrick, Fletcher, Januzaj and Welbeck all have to start in my opinion. The others? I have no idea. Depends on injuries. All being well, think I'd go:
de Gea
Rafael
Evans
Vidic
Evra/Coentrao (God knows what will happen if the former is out and the latter doesn't sign)
Jones
Carrick
Fletcher
Welbeck
Rooney
Januzaj
Think our underdog status going into this game could do us a favour or two. Players will have a point to prove.
RVP is out for 6 weeks.
I expect Rooney and Welbeck up front.
