They need to put a rule in to prevent teams from hoarding young promising players from across the world and then shipping them off for some extra cash. It's ok to have a few here and there but to have this many is ridiculous. I complain about City but the behavior coming out of Chelsea is just as bad.

The market will ultimately punish them as no savvy agent is bringing a truly top young 18-19 year old there at this point given how poor they have been at creating actual pathways for these players.
Strasbourg has a genuine - not high, but not inconsequential - chance of getting relegated, which would make this situation even worse. Nobody signs with Chelsea to develop in Ligue 2.
