Well, yes they did. Critiquing Lampard after the West Brom game and the horrendous decision to start Tammy against Spurs.
But this is a different forum away from the happy-clapping clique and you can put a point across on here without the armchair brigade having their moan. Actually, one time a moderator defended Lampard’s tactics then admitted to not even watching the game. Utterly horrific.
Lampard has made a lot of silly mistakes this season and gets off with it because he’s a) a legend and b) English.
His decision making in the game against Everton was utterly horrendous. He is a young manager with a lot of potential but he needs to seriously improve his game management in more difficult games. We have still yet to score against difficult teams in the league.
United weren't a top half team when we played them. They don't count.
Seriously though, I'm not concerned about this. I'm confident about where we are and how the season is going so far. We have West Ham in our next home game, so I suppose we'll get a good chance to get a top 10 win soon.

We were never more than our game in hand from being a top half side! Otherwise the first few games when everybody has played a handful of games messes this type of stat up.
Todays table shows us who has been the best sides thus fsr and you seem to struggle against teams who have a sustained semblance of quality.
Liverpool - Kepa in goal.
United - Lampard went with a cautious approach, we had just conceded 3 goals vs Southampton in the preceding game.
Spurs - Both teams were cautious. Could have won this, but both teams seemed too afraid to lose. Spurs had just destroyed City on the counter.
Everton - Disappointing loss, but we were unlucky, in my opinion. We played well enough, hit the the post twice, conceded a penalty. Missed a lot of creativity through injury.
Those games may suggest a pattern to some, but for me they can be individually explained with context. I hear what you're saying, but I'm not concerned about this. We regularly beat top 7 teams last season with a worse team.
Im not saying its terminal or anything but its hard to explain away the 10 shots on target stat.
Every club has this sort of run this season. Utd home run (difficult games tbf) liverpool away games, your top half record, whatever record City has laying mid table.
Its why its so mind numbing watching Utd fans use our home form stat as a reason why we cant challenge. Everybody is suffering in one way or another
Also it has to be noted we're not the only team struggling to score in big games, for some reason the managers have suddenly become shit scared of losing them they're effectively shaking hands on 0-0's before kick off, even Pep has started doing it. Maybe the fact that the title appears to be quite open this year combined with what happened to United against Spurs are scaring the managers into submission on the 6 pointers?

Fair enough, Havertz is going to take a while to get used to the pace of the league with his style of play, but I'm really struggling to see what Werner brings to the side other than pace. Was tripping over his feet today and can't beat a man to save his life. Once Ziyech is back, him and Pulisic should start on the wings.

Chelsea starting XI is nothing special, they have very good depth though. Talent yes but current level are not there yet. I have said it before that they spent those money just to level their XI to ours. I never understand why people in here were scared of Chelsea at the start of season. You can't name a world class player in their current squad.
