Championship 2024/25

If Burnley manage to beat Leeds at home tonight the top three is inside one single point. Leeds and Burnley currently with superior goal difference to Sheff Utd.
It's a very scrappy game so far & I think one goal will win it.

Why on earth did I just waste two hours of my life watching that. Even worse I don't even support either team, I really need new hobbies

One of the most boring games of football I've seen. Burnley lacked all ambition and we occasionally attacked them with timidity. Could have nicked it at the end but both teams deserved 0 points.

Not one of the most boring games of football I've seen:

Burnley have conceded 9 goals in 30 games. 9!

They are super stingy, really well drilled - incredibly tough to watch though. They've only scored in two of their last seven games (granted one was 5-0, but 5 of them were 0-0).

Ex player or not I don’t get John Eustace decision to leave Blackburn who are in a playoff spot to go to Derby who are only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

Burnley now gone 11 games (including cup) without conceding; six of them were 0 - 0. Think Man Utd went 14 games once.

Leeds with a very late comeback to overturn a single goal deficit…two great crosses from that Joe Rothwell guy.

Must say, the crowd was very subdued until the first Leeds goal.

On a long weekend break and caught that game on tele. Fantastic entertainment.

Leeds battered Sunderland and got caught out to a fantastic goal. The comeback was deserved.

Championship is always good value. I swear i enjoy it more than a random champions league game!

Maybe it wont be the worst thi…..wait, iv had too much Guinness to finish that sentence!

Rivalry aside, I'm delighted to see both Leeds and Sheffield United doing so well. They're two clubs that really should be in the top-flight

Really? I'm the other way around, think it sucks that we have the usual suspects back in the PL if it's Leeds, Sheffield and Burnley. They usually just stink up the place and are relegated a year (or two) later.

Sunderland has been gone for far too long, would love it if they got up again. Same for Blackburn.

I hope Blades beat them this weekend (well, Monday). I've too many Leeds supporting mates who are far too smug.

Tried to buy a Sheffield United season ticket this year but left it too late (wife's side of the family are all big Blades fans). Big club, and it'll piss off Wednesday fans which is always a bonus.

Agreed in wanting Blackburn back. Now they don’t have Friedel in goal, I can look forward to playing against them again for the nostalgia. Brad would turn into prime Great Wall of China against us.

Wouldnt mind Blackburn back, but Sheffield United have only been back up 3 years since 2007, and Leeds United only did that one 3 year spell before going back down again. Hardly yoyo clubs.

Let's be real. We're not getting relegated. But it's really bleak.

I didn't say we will be relegated, I said this is what we are, fighting relegation teams back in November, I was told to sh** up and calm down because we are BIG Manutd, by you and others. So, some fans didn't think we would be in a battle... lose a few more and it really is a battle.

YOU WERE RIGHT AND HAVE BEEN VINDICATED
hope he's happy now.

Matt Bloomfield still hasn't won a game with Luton. Should have stayed at Wycombe

Yeah, zero manager bounce. The last two games we at least played well and have been unlucky so there's some progression. If we are to survive, it will all depend on the two new Norwegians, Nordas and Aasgaard.

I'm sure he started slowly at Wycombe. Would be ironic to see Luton go down and Wycombe come up.

Wot? When we last came up under Bielsa Leeds were the most exciting new arrivals in years and finished 9th with more points and goals than (I think) any promoted team post Ipswich in 2000. We were still entertaining even when we were getting thumped the next season. Granted once we let Bielsa go we reverted to stinking up the place.

I still think you’ll be safe in the end.

Despite your awful run you’re still only 2 points from safety.

Youve got a pretty nice run now with
Watford (awful form)
Portsmouth
Burnley (tough one)
Cardiff
Boro (awful form)
Hull

On paper that run looks decent but I also thought we would beat Plymouth
