Kovacic could be off
Stuck in like 8-10 years ago?

AC desperately need to do something tonight. They won’t stand a chance away from home.

So frustrating bt think this is the 'a' team of pundits and commentators.

might be the worst coverage of a game I can remember, topped off by a group of expert BT pundits who know nothing about two teams that play live on BT sport every weekend

A free kick and the keeper just casually comes out and grabs it to kill the attack

This tie just took abolishing away goals rule to a new level.

Literally no away leg FFS.

Looking at these 2 keepers casually plucking high balls out of the air and killing the pressure being built.

Makes you really realise how important it is to have a keeper who can do that.

We don't have any of that nonsense here, come on now

Only chance Inter have against City is if they can channel the combined power of all Italian corruption and cheating.

Owen Hargreaves comes across a bit thick on the box.

What is it with Owen's and stating the fecking obvious?

I missed first 15 minutes or so but where does 0.94 xG from Milan come home? They hit the post once. Don't remember anything else.

This BT crew are going in very hard in defence of Martinez’s dive.

I agree with you the eye test says Inter won this by closer to 3 goals margin.. The xG suggesting a 1-2 score is a poor metric.

Fotmob has Milan at 1.06 xG… The highest of which was Messias big chance in the minute 51… They had many desperate shots and some blocked ones from inside the box. It ends up adding to 1xG…

On the other hand Inter scored a very low xG chance with Dzeko’s goal, but also came very close from another low xG. (The shot on the post by Calha was actually a 0.01xG). So in total Inter did enough to score 3 or 4 but they did so without creating a 3/4 xG..

The xG can be quite misleading when taken for individual matches.

Fitting at least that the most notable thing BT have brought to their coverage of this tie is all of their pundits being loudly and bizarrely wrong about a very sound non-penalty decision.

It’s almost like Rio & Macca were embarrassed by agreeing with the original call on air so they doubled down; and then everyone else doubled down with them out of shit pundit solidarity.

Entertaining 60 minutes of the game imho then the last 30 mins were atrocious to watch. Inter were happy of their 2-goal margin win and Milan didn't even try to score for some reasons.
It seemed the classic Serie A match when one team is 2-0 up and start to control the game without taking big risks. Milan forgot it was a UCL semifinal and there was another 90 mins to play.

Inter is such an underrated side.

Their core players (Onana, Bastoni, Skriniar, Barella, Hakan, Dumfries, Martinez) cost a peanut, but each of them is valued no less than 70mil euros in the current market.

Too bad they failed to tie down Skriniar. A bit misjudgement by their management.

People who thinks City/Madrid are going trash Inter (if they can pass Milan) will be in for a rude awakening. They are a solid unit.

Lukaku, as clumsy as he is, dont' have a problem to give a physical battle, allowed Lautaro Martinez to thrive as a shadow striker.

I get where you're coming from but a team that collapses this hard and is so lacking in overall technical quality isn't going to have the mental fortitude to pull such an upset but I suppose we'll see.
It's unlikely, but consider they were missing Leao tonight
