Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

12/13 Bayern - Barca 7-0 over 2 games still the biggest SF collapse I've seen

lets see what happens in rome

What  Barca had TONS of injuries to that squad including Messi. 7-0 is harsh but that was the weakest Barca side of the last 15 years with all the injuries in that tie.

After this game, I am convinced that if ever there was a time for Real Madrid to win a treble of CL titles and seal their fate as one of histories greatest teams, it is now!
Liverpool/Roma won't be able to attack Madrid in such an open way because Zidane is a naturally cautious coach. He won't stray from a 4-3-1-2 or a really deep 4-4-2 formation in the final.
The only hard bit is to get past the mighty Bayern.

I want Salah out of the league right now!! I can't stand the thought of Real Madrid getting him that would enable them to dominate the world footballing with Salah and Ronaldo on flanks is devastating.

I dont like Mourinho, Never liked him nor his style of play. Why accusing me of not being a united fan for sharing my idea's about our manager I think he is a lesser manager to Klopp.

Mate. I don't even know where to begin, but comparing the trophy hauls of the 2 managers, shows that Klopp cannot even be mentioned in the same breath as Jose.
After Klopp has one several more league titles and actually won the CL, then he can be.
And to suggest that Klopp is better?

And some advice: for your own sanity and well being, go support Liverpool and Klopp. You'll be a lot happier. ;)

Isco is kind of good too. Liverpool will have a nightmare dealing with him. On paper Modric and Kroos should have a field day and Marcelo too. Madrid would very much be favorites but it's a one off game and Liverpool are jammy bastards.
They'll run us off the park mate

EDF NEEDS to go 4-3-3 next week, absolutely battered Liverpool when he made the Perotti switch. This would be a lot more intriguing if that 3-0 offside goal didn’t count.

Roma manager bottled it with his terrible lineup at the beginning, as soon as he ditched the 3-5-2 they got on top of Liverpool

Well at the very least, those late goals will have pissed on the scousers chips somewhat. They are definitely not invincible - their first half in the 2nd leg against City showed that. Nullify Salah (admittedly, easier said than done) and put pressure on their defence. Bayern and Madrid are more than capable of doing them.

Well, as we have been in Poland recently block from good bookies, we have to use shitty ones. Its 96.00 odds but with some additional cut (12% tax). All in all, from 5 pln stake its 422 pln.
Softens the blow of Liverpool winning.

Gives the Roma fans something to cling on to.

Liverpool looked set to wobble when City scored early in the second leg.

That's the only thing they can tap into now.

The atmosphere in Rome will be better than at Anfield tonight. PLEASE CRUMBLE LIVERPOOL.

Klopp can only play one way and that's attack, attack and attack.

Salah gets him out of a lot of trouble.

Dortmund played like that under him too.

Said it before. Think this will go the Man Utd of 2011 route. Beat a lot of mediocre sides (with an Enlgish team in the QFs) to make the final but lose convincingly to a top team.

Remember when I lost my shit, when Liverpool were up 3-0 against City and were completely incapable of releasing pressure. Some were like but they defended well. They won to nil, what are you on about.

Exactly that is what I was talking about. No ability retain possession and kill the game.

Also fecking Lovren. He ran toward the cross and then underjumped it on the first Roma goal. That´s what dumb defenders do to a defense. And people wonder why Moreno&Lovren together were a calamity.

Still 5-2 should be enough, 5-3 would have been a disaster.

Lovren is a ticking time bomb. Great most of the time and then mistakes like that the rest. The penalty was never a penalty, but a 3 goal lead should be enough to take us through.

Pool are not idiots like Barca. They ll not just sit back and hope that Roma won't score anything.

That's what I said that Liverpool are going to pass through anyway.

What an idiot this Roma manager is though. Absolutely shambolic management. Playing a high defensive lineup against a fast team like Liverpool and not even changing it the whole game.

Keep telling yourself that. There's every chance Liverpool can do it, unless Real come in top form. If it's Bayern in the final then it's anyone's trophy.

I don't see Liverpool winning the whole thing. Roma and Liverpool should just be glad they were both given the best draw to get to the final.

He's an idiot. Who the hell goes 3 on 3 against Mane, Salah, Firmino? It's like Pep going 3 at the back vs MSN in 2015. I do think it's too little too late but like you said he needs to go 4-3-3 next week and hope for the best. To stop Liverpool from scoring won't be easy but they've come back once. They can do it again.

Great result. Confident we can score a couple over there. Far from a done deal but we're in a very strong position.

We need to stop subbing Salah, our attack falls apart without him. We didn't know weather to attack or defend in the last 15 and unlike the city game we did neither.

So annoying that they didn't just shit their pants a bit less.

Some really poor football all in all for a CL semi to be honest. Liverpool attack well but have been flattered by Roma's total lack of awareness going in to the game.

I have Real as favourites, but they've been up and down this season. If the stars align Liverpool will beat them. Juve nearly did it. Tottenham did it earlier in the season if I remember right. Their league form is the same.

Yeah Roma were probably like: YAY it´s only Barcelona, luckily not Sevilla.

Alright what just happened. Didn't have to drink to enjoy this game. I am mentally and physically exhausted even if I am just a spectator watching the game at home. Phew !! Kudos to Liverpool to make this game so enjoyable. Mo Salah!! What a humble gentlemen.
