Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

Hope somebody took count of all the times a roma player passed the ball to a liverpool player while under no pressure whatsoever

That should be an interesting stat

Yeah thats why you are shellacking everyone in your path. It just takes Ronaldo to have an off day and you are golden.
Isco is kind of good too. Liverpool will have a nightmare dealing with him. On paper Modric and Kroos should have a field day and Marcelo too. Madrid would very much be favorites but it's a one off game and Liverpool are jammy bastards.

Nothing added for the sub? Easiest decision in terms of timekeeping. I bet he would've added it if it was the other way.

Well at least there's a reason for me to watch second leg. Liverpool will still pass through anyway though.

Wow, I thought WE were a meandering side...

Why are they pissing about with it, with 30 seconds to go???

bit of an event that penalty

oppo teams have scored EXTREMELY few at Anfield in European footy

might be just the 3rd or 4th ever, even

Think this should be enough to see us through, can’t see us not scoring in Rome cos we could’ve had 10 tonight. So fecking typical and frustrating to concede two goals at the end though, was constantly dreading that.

Anyway, great evening.

What was the Roma manager thinking with the original line-up? Horrendous team shape against Liverpool's heavy metal band.

Let's not let that freak result vs Barca trick us. This tie is over.

Just hope Madrid do the business as I think they're better equipped to beat them.

Pool are not idiots like Barca. They ll not just sit back and hope that Roma won't score anything.

If Real get through they should be favourites, how LFC are this close to the final with that defense fecking baffles me. Then again how Barca lost to Roma baffles me too.

Bullshit performance from Roma.

Bet Klopp and Liverpool couldn't believe their luck the way they lined up.

There's no way Roma are keeping a clean sheet next week. Just hope a team like Real bury the cnuts.

Their inabikity to see out a game is amazing. They will still reach the finals, but how the feck did that still get even remotely tense.

What a moronic team, this Roma. They were trying to kick it high and they could not do even that! They were worse than a pub team tonight.

Liverpool will score over there.
That 2nd goal changes things now though, even 2 goals from Liverpool in Rome doesn't mean the tie is over. At the very least, it's interesting now

Shame they had to go down 5 goals first but they've got to have some confidence they can score on Liverpool.

Blowing the whistle at the minute when there has been a substitution in stoppage time should just disqualify you from ref-ing any more CL matches

If we are hoping Madrid do the business, why can’t we hope Roma win 3-0 or 4-1?

it happens, even Sir alex the best manager of all time lost to lesser managers.
head to head Klopp has a better record against Mourinho though.
And last season?
A Klopp player has yet to score against Jose from open play in England..

Ahh, too little too late I think for Roma, but at least Liverpool will have to play their best players in the second leg. Hoping for a couple of red cards to key players. Also, maybe they don't fully concentrate on the Prem now and drop some points allowing Chelsea to get closer to them.
