Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

What the feck are they doing? Get the ball forward. Done nothing since the goal

1) Chance for Roma in the Liverpool box, Lovren dramatically throws himself to ground winning them a soft FK.
2) An identical situation in the Roma box not punished and Wijnaldum scores
3) Karius as the last man brings down Dzeko in the box, wrongly flagged for offside
4) Alexander-Arnold as the last man blocks a goal bound strike in his own box with his hand, nothing given.

And that's just from the top of my head. Shocking officiating. I can guarantee probably only of these will be brought up in the post-match.
When you factor in the clear two fouls before the 1st goal at Anfield and an offside goal and all of this Roma probably would have advanced if the rules were enforced correctly and objectively.

Why is Roma dicking around with the ball same as Bayern yesterday instead of simply launching it forward when no player is able to run anymore? Beyond stupid.

Not impressed at all by Liverpool over the two games, there is no way this sort of play will hold up against Real.

Can they do it against a midfield who can conquer their press? I'm actually quite intrigued. Also leaving 3 forward to exploit Madrid would be suicide. Salah and Mane will have to track back. If Madrid get control of the game as they should then Salah could spend more time defending Marcelo than the other way around. It'll be an interesting game but I have serious problems with those here who act like Liverpool are some unbeatable behemoth when they are 3rd in the League and been beaten many times this year. I mean we (and we ain't great) made them look ordinary.

They have killed City twice, and the Madrid midfield does not have the legs of a couple of years ago. Liverpool tend to burn themselves out playing at the pace they do, survive the initial burst and you can see many of their flaws come out.

Hello.

I think had Roma not gone with such a shitty high line and gung-ho attitude at Anfield they'd have won this tie comfortably.

Just hoping for a Real victory now.

What a horribly frustrating performance over both legs from Roma. Gifted them a final.

LOL that´s never a penalty. UEFA is becoming like American sports. Creating BS drama with BS one-sided calls.

Astonishing how close we came to bottling that but whatever, we’re in a CL final.

Bring on Madrid.
