Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

I'm more concerned that in 2005:

Our rich rivals ran away with the league.
We faced a London club in the FA cup final and undeservedly lost
Liverpool went into a CL final, against a giant of Europe and won...

and history repeating itself this year...
The Pope died in 2005, Francis is healthy enough. :nervous:

Roma's defenders are actually so stupid. For example, why would Fazio knock that into row Z rather than pass it back to the keeper under little pressure.

He’s been shocking both legs.

Makes Lovren look competent.

They aren't 3rd because they only lost to Barcelona and Atletico. They are 3rd by a big gap (15 points) because of losses to Espanyol and Leganes and Girona. How does the same argument used for Liverpool not apply to Madrid here?
Because Madrid won the league last season and have win the previous 2 CL titles

Salah has been awful so far. Greedy and can’t get anything to stick.

2 years ago Liverpool played EL final and lost!
year ago Man United played EL final and won!
This year Liverpool will play CL final and lose!
Next year Man United will play CL final and win!

Liverpool played Manchester clubs in the quarter-final in both Europa league/UCL and made it to final. Facing Spanish team in final who won their cup competitions twice in a row.

Because Madrid won the league last season and have win the previous 2 CL titles

Irrelevant in the context of whether the argument "Salah still is in Young's pockets" is a valid one. It's as flimsy as saying Ronaldo got shut down by Leganes, so he won't have a chance against Van Dijk.

You need to be taking any shred of a chance to make this work. They're not

City dropped a massive clanger getting rid of him. Would have given them the plan b option that they lack at the moment.

If there's one area Man City are fine in then it's in an attacking sense.
