Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

Liverpool to "destroy" Madrid? Get a hold of yourselves ffs  The difference in quality between those two teams is gigantic. Yeah, Liverpool's front three is brilliant and it shows against garbage like Roma, but Modric vs Henderson in midfield? Kroos vs Wijnaldum? Ronaldo vs Lovren? Add to that Madrid's experience of playing in and winning CL finals. Only one winner in that game.

They're a different beast in the CL.

They can win that when they're poor in the league.

Just like Milan and unfortunately Liverpool too.

There you go, it's not a field that Madrid can say they're heads above Liverpool in. The latter have shown that regardless of what Young did to Salah at Old Trafford, they are a potential threat in the CL this year. Pretending otherwise is sticking your head in the sand.

Roma's defending in both games has been schoolboy. There's no way Real will give away cheap goals like this in the final. They will defend if they have to like they did last night vs Bayern and only need 1/2 chances to win. I'm not even worried. Liverpool are not the same away from Anfield as well. Real should not be worried. If they get their tactics right they'll blow away Liverpool.

Madrid - Liverpool will be tight I reckon. Liverpool have a better front 3, but Madrid have a better midfield and Marcelo as a LB. A lot will depend on how Real setup I reckon.

True, but they have Klopp.

And I refuse to believe Kroos and Modric won't handle Pool's midfield and Ronaldo with acres of space from Pool's pressing won't demolish them.

And this Real team don't lose finals lately at all.

With the media wanking themselves to oblivion over this "fantastic" Liverpool team, their fans getting boisterous, half our own fans looking to Merseyside with longing envy and everyone getting set to see them destroy an "average" Madrid, I can't wait to see all this expectation come back to haunt them when they get hammered by a proper Madrid side on the world's biggest stage. Yeah you can say I'm bitter but I don't actually care in the least.

Same was said about De Bruyne vs Henderson, Silva vs Wijnaldum, Sane vs Trent, Aguero vs Lovren and so forth. Couldn't care less who's in their team because they've been playing average all year and didn't even deserve to get past Bayern. If you really believe comparing individual players is the way to decide a tie then we wouldn't have got past City and you'd have got past Sevilla, but we did and you didn't so lets look at the bigger picture instead of individuals shall we?

This is so annoying considering we nullified their attack for 180 minutes this season.

Roma are such a POS team.

The defending in the semifinals has been comical, and to think United fans bitch about Smalling week in week out

Porto, city and roma are some dream teams that klopp got. Klopp tactics works perfectly against these tactically naive teams. It seems roma learned nothing from the first leg . Real will be another easy team to score against but their attack is menacing and you have Ronaldo who will punish them. It will be a good final that real will win.

Quite, Real's away form in the CL can only be described as stunning.
PSG 1-2 RM
Juve 0-3 RM
Bayern 1-2 RM

The final being in a neutral field will favor Real.

For whatever reason, they've played worse at home in the CL this season.

Better than this Roma side. Schalke could’ve played with Neur and got a better result than these Italian shithouse cnuts. Thankfully real will smash them.

Go look at the lineup Schalke started the first leg. It was Raul, Neuer, a broken Meltzelder, a 19 year old Matip, a 19 year old CB in midfield. etc

Let's hope Varane stays injury free until 26th May. His speed will be absolutely vital in combating Liverpool's only real tactic/threat. A Ramos and Nacho/Casemiro defensive pairing would be under immense pressure, I feel. Carvajal's inclusion in the starting XI is a must too, you'd think. You need all your pacy options when planning to take this specific vermin XI down.

Lately? They've won their last SIX CL finals in a row beginning last century.

In the league yes, Madrid have been average but in the CL it is the same old Madrid. And whether or not they deserved it, they did get past Bayern, who are an absolutely brilliant team.

Real is one of those great teams that adapts to its opposition, they will still be favourites even though Liverpool has good chances

You can see why Darmian is highly rated by the Italian clubs, if the rumors are to be believed. Would fit in quite well at Roma, for one thing.

Not sure about that. Liverpool have not lost away from home in the UCL this season. Like Madrid, they've won all their away KO games too.

Real will beat them in the final and will beat them convincingly 3 or 4 to nil. Yeah, they looked a bit sloppy last night but they’re the big boys of the CL. They know how to up their game, especially away from the Bernabeu. Let’s just chill, stop thinking about how it’s only Ronaldo that can stop them and look at the quality throughout their starting XI and how much better it is than Liverpool Football Club’s bar Salah and just breathe. No doubt lads.

Are you being serious?

remind me who they played the last time they lost a european cup final....

2 years ago Liverpool played EL final and lost!
year ago Man United played EL final and won!
This year Liverpool will play CL final and lose!
Next year Man United will play CL final and win!
