Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

This would be the luckiest Champions League win since Chelsea. Outplayed in 5 of 6 knockout games. Great job Lewandowski. Bayern lived in Madrid´s penalty area for 180 minutes and he managed to do absolutely nothing.
How did PSG outplay them? Juve outplayed them at the Bernabeu... cause they were 3 down. They needed to. Madrid deserved to get to the semi's, it's only been this tie that Bayern outplayed them both legs and errors costed them.

Marcelo better start defending against Salah or else they will be in trouble.

Great game. Credit to both teams. Bayern were exceptonal apart from that goal and their finishing.

I was about to ask before the game if Ulreich should go to the World Cup.....

Yea fcuk him. Twat. I haven't been this angry at a keeper since when Wiese dropping a simple cross at the feet of Viera in the 90th minute of a 2006 UCL match to gift Juventus a win over Bremen.

Liverpool/Roma can win this for all I care. I'm sick of watching these Real c*nts flucking their way to another UCL win.

We didn't need to play this tie to know how it would end.

Referee aside, Bayern only can blame themself. Even if with a more fair referee i dont see Bayern win this tie. The amount of chances after chances they missed and that leaked defence. You played the better football thou.

You can't be that lucky if you're going to win CL by defeating PSG, Juve, Bayern and (hopefully) Liverpool. This is by far one of the worst draws I would have seen for any champion in my life.

That's actually a very good point.

Madrid haven't been too impressive in both legs here and the 2nd leg against Juventus but to knock out PSG, Juventus and Bayern Munich is very impressive no matter how they did it.

I've maintained throughout that Liverpool will terrorise Madrid's defence but their incompetence at the other end will be their undoing. After seeing Madrid's inability and refusal to defend again tonight I honestly think Liverpool will never get a better chance of winning the CL.

Doesn't matter, history books will say 3 finals in a row and potentially 3 wins in a row.

What does this mean? Will all match reports be wiped from the face of the Earth? Can we stop pretending as if history is unable to take performance as well as results into context?

It's weird isn't it, Zidane could win triple back to back UCLs, but be utter gash in the league. God knows how you rank him based on that.

I don't think Bayern were that much better in the first leg to be fair...

Both teams were shit that game

Acording to UEFA Hummels is playing for ZSKA Moscow now. This evening can't get worse.

Fecking hate Madrid. Limp their way into another final. Cnuts.

Will be their biggest fan in the world in the final mind you. Come on Madrid!

I feel your pain. I was rooting for Bayern. I hope Roma can perform a miracle

Ronaldo’s been poor in the last three CL games (massive testicles in the 97th minute vs Juve aside). Hope he’s back on form for the final.

Why? They should get 2 penalties. The fact that they missed all those chances, is irrelevant for that

2 penalties is just tonight. They were denied a stonewaller last week too. The exact same type of foul Madrid got v Juve, funnily enough.

But yeah, you can't give away those two goals and expect to go through. They should look at themselves before they look at the ref because the two goals they gave to Real were an absolute disgrace.

Real v Liverpool

I know what I'll be doing on that Saturday night. Staying as far away from a TV as possible.

Also have to say fairplay to Madrid. Beat the champions of France, Italy and Germany in the knockout stages. Could not have been more difficult of a run and they got through it. Theyll beat Liverpool. Too much quality in the end.

i can't get over it man. this knockout is by far the most unnecessariest (is this even a word?) ever... even worse than last year. last year we got cheated out, this year we just bottled big time. we were soooo much better..
You know what, honestly, i think you might have been cheated worse this year. Kassai was just a disaster all around, cakir was one-sided as feck. But you still have mostly yourselves to blame for this

When was the Inter final? Add Porto and the United meltdown. Bayern should have at least two more CL titles, more likely three. So many finals lost as the huge favourite.

Inter was 2010 and they were slightly better than us. Against Chelsea we bottled big time though in 2012.

It's weird isn't it, Zidane could win triple back to back UCLs, but be utter gash in the league. God knows how you rank him based on that.

He had a shite league campaign this season, but he won it last year and finished second in the year before by one point even though he got the job about midseason and defeated Barce the champions as well. Definitely not that "utter gash" if you ask me. It's just this season.

Madrid had the toughest road to the final, but feck if I saw a team so lucky on its way. They had one great 90 minutes where they controlled the game from start to finish and that was in Paris without Kroos and Modric. Let's hope there is some luck left for the final now, but Liverpool must watch this and fancy their chances.

Great game of football altogether. Was nervous as a neutral, can imagine what was for people who support one of this sides.

Varane was fecking immense tonight. Him and James the best players on the park.

If anyone was wondering how far we are away from being a European heavyweight again, just watch the highlights from that match. We've got some way to go lads, glad we're on the right track though.

Not quite sure how Bayern didn’t win that. Great game. Ref played his part and allowed the game to flow.

Just hope Real can beat Liverpool now.

Ugh, would be even more unbearable if we were to lose it against those cheating cnuts. I feel for Bayern tonight.
