Champions League Round of 16 fixtures

The ref needs to grow some fecking balls and award a penalty for that shit.

It's outrageous that Commons got booked for getting shoved around. He was literally just trying to stand his ground while the other guy barged and wrestled him. Ref bottle job and as usual the officials behind the line do feck all.

Really impressed with celtic so far, if they keep that up second half theres definitely a goal or two in it for them.

I fear that they could now get caught on the break as they really will have to open up to get something from this. Can't go to Turin behind.

On another note, Ibrahimovic, even whilst on a team that's supposedly shit without him, still can't put up an outstanding performance in the CL knockouts. He's easily been the worst of the PSG attacking quartet.

PSG isn't shit without Ibrahimovic. He's their main man, but have plenty of other excellent players.

God I wish we could have a 1st half like PSG did....2-0 on the road....already puts a team in an incredidily good position to go through.
Valencia would have to do A LOT in the next 135 minutes in order to somehow scrape through this tie. I don't see it happening, not that I would mind it.

Enjoying both games so far, played at breakneck speed... Celtic unlucky so far, yes Juve perhaps had a gameplan to sit back but that is not usually their style, Celtic have pressed very high and robbed Juve of alot of possession. If Celtic had a decent striker, they'd be level or leading.

Juve need to do more on the counter.

Celtic to pretty well considering this side probably wouldn't get promoted from the championship. Really well set up and the players are fired up

thats complete bollocks though, i love how people who know nothing about scottish football believe this myth that their not good enough, would birmingham or wolves get this far in the champions league? they're there for a reason

Hence the 'supposedly', I've certainly heard a lot of that around this forum. I don't agree as you can tell ;)

At least he knows how to play football. The Valencia attackers act as if they have only just seen a football and don't know what to do with it. My God, even Rennes or Toulouse would beat this Valencia.

Yeah, well that's not even their biggest problem tonight... Valverde went all Emery on them; 3 CMs, no holding midfielder. It's no surprise they've conceded, only maybe that they haven't scored themselves.

United still has something to prove in Europe. Haven't seen a better-than-average European game from you lot for the past 18 months.
Well we haven't played a play-off game the last 18 months and those games are the only ones that count, so that's a moot point.

They're the only ones that count? Why was everyone around here so annoyed at the loss to Basel last season then?

Celtic are having brilliant spells of possession but just seem to be lacking that final ball.
