Champions League Round of 16 fixtures

They're the only ones that count? Why was everyone around here so annoyed at the loss to Basel last season then?
Because we didn't get through to the play-offs? We're supposed to go through without playing well, that's how we roll. Last season was a blip.

Celtic have been very impressive

Wanyama is the player I think Pogba may well develop into - powerful player

I hope they get a goal

Celtic have been very very good.

Should be ahead, not behind

fecking hell, Celtic players taking a leaf out of the classic Italian book and going down at every given opportunity. That was class defending from Barzagli.

People getting over-excited.

Celtic have played above themselves, but Juve got an early goal and have been content to sit back since.

Celtic have not had a clear cut oppurtunity or got in behind once...

Whenever I have seen Juve away from home in Europe they never really convinced me, today is no different.

The only thing that seems to be their saving grace in those games is that they have a very good defense and of course Buffon.

You were saying?

I don't understand this professional bollocks. If it was professional they'd have restricted Celtic to wild long range shots and be dominating midfield. Neither is true.

Juver have been shit Heap. They've barely been able to clear their lines in the second half. Celtic have shown how to play against these teams. No time on the ball at all!

Celtic 0-1 Juventus.

Yeah, shit job by Juve thus far

Correct me if I am wrong, but are the Italians not currently catenaccio-ing a 1-0 lead, away from home in a two-legged tie?

I've given up wasting my time trying to talk to some people on here. Those same people would of probably said similar shit during the game where Inter produced one of the greatest victories when they beat Barca and went on to win the CL. One game away in Europe and suddenly a team is shit

Celtic have had plenty of decent chances. Should have scored 1, if not 2.

And Juve's goal came from a defensive error of a long ball.

As one poster mentioned earlier, Juventus are doing to Celtic what they had done to Barcelona. Juventus are confident enough to defend their lines for 90 minutes. They have scored and the onus is on Celtic to score.
