This match was interesting for a good 25 minutes.
It was a clear foul on Icardi but a penalty just feels like too heavy a punishment. It wasn't even a chance. That has always felt wrong to me, but rules are rules.
It’s a blatant pen because if you foul someone, accidental or not, then, well, it’s a clear foul, especially if you trod on your opponent’s ankle. Yellow card was just completely unnecessary by the ref.

That's an odd one... refs don't give penalties when the ball is 100% going out of play as 'the ball is gone'. So is that really a pen given the keeper had near enough gathered the ball already??
