Champions League Round of 16 (16th Feb - 17th Mar)

Pepe was outrageous last night. What a performance.

Also, the wall was crap but that Free Kick is all on Szczesny for me... if De Gea didn't save that we'd be seething.

Gone are the days of old when I could flip on a CL match every Tuesday & Wednesday in the States. Now, it's like one per week. I have to find a Spanish broadcast or stream. We had it so good in the years gone by over here, with NBCSN showing multiple matches each weekend, ESPN/whomever showing multiple CL matches and sameday replays. Now, everything is additional subscription based.

Too bad Angelino is out. Otherwise a really fun looking Leipzig line up. Looks like they'll go gung ho from the beginning.

Konate on the bench. Seems to have been there for the last few games as well.

Can anyone more knowledgeable shed any light on that situation?

Leipzig cannot defend

Tbh their lineup doesn't read like they want to be as far back as they have been so far. Not lined up defensively, really. That's a very offensive line up in my opinion.
I think they want to go gung ho but Liverpool have just been much better so far.

Barcelona havn't started badly. Shit finish from Dembele though.

I was also thinking about that. He hasn’t started any matches 2021.

Dortmund absolutely robbed Barca with that Dembele deal.

As long as they don't try to recoup some money from us.

I don't worry about us spending silly money on him. We tried to get him on loan, but that was it. Ole talks too much about character for us to spend our budget on a Barca flop.

Not quite the best overhead kick from Messi there.
